Hello All you visa gurus,

I am thinking about getting the non o retirement visa... and am trying to decide the best way to go about it....

Should I apply for single entry non o based on retirement while in UK...then try to extend in country... BUT I MAY ONLY BE IN THAILAND FOR A MONTH.

OR

Is it possible to come over visa exempt/visa on arrival ( UK citizen/passport) and try and get the non o based on retirement from local IO (Korat)

I meet all the financial criteria for visa and am married to a Thai... and have had about 12 years of non o based on marriage( now expired). I want the retirement route because less paperwork and farting around.

Any advice greatly appreciated....

At some point in the future do the process when you have time.

If your plan is agent route then you could obtain the Non O in UK of Thailand.

Agents can do the extension 3 months early.

You cannot.

ME Non O marriage or retirement are not longer available on the e-Visa platform.

Not to be confused with METV tourist visa which is still available.
