Trump was just served a rather humiliating defeat by China.

I forsee a LOT of walking back on Trump's stupid ridiculous statements and actions in the future.

Wait until the common people feel the full force of increased costs for almost everything.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a civil uprising and/or impeachment.

How it started.

The left - Trumps tariffs are causing crazy inflation, we're all doomed.

How its going.

"Consumer prices rose less than expected in May as President Donald Trump's tariffs had yet to show significant impact on inflation, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Wednesday.

The consumer price index, a broad-based measure of goods and services across the sprawling U.S. economy, increased 0.1% for the month, putting the annual inflation rate at 2.4%. Economists surveyed by Dow Jones had been looking for respective readings of 0.2% and 2.4%."

That certainly is a correct statement.

I’ve never read any truth in any of your posts.

But let’s be honest—though I know that’s asking a lot in your case.

The facts of life—America’s legacy of misery.

  • The Spanish Flu — the deadliest pandemic ever recorded, originated on U.S. soil.

  • The Great Depression — the worst financial collapse the modern world had seen, driven by U.S. tariffs and economic arrogance.

  • The Global Financial Crisis — the 21st century’s most catastrophic market collapse, fueled by U.S. greed and deregulation.

  • Donald Trump — the most unpopular U.S. president on the world stage in modern history.

Turns out “American exceptionalism” really just means exceptionally catastrophic—for all of us who have to live with the consequences.

There is nothing good to talk about?

No-one knows whether coronavirus was accidental or the result of an experiment gone wrong. It certainly did not do the Chinese economy any good, entire cities were in lockdown.

You seem to be confusing me with someone who gives a rat's rectum for your ignorant opinion.

We all know where it originated, except you.

There’s a reason it’s called the “China Virus”.  Not the American, Australian, Italian, Cuban, Mongolian Swedish or Egyptian.

Have you considered becoming a Chinese Permanent Resident?  You should.  They would appreciate your loyalty and propaganda favoring the state.

I’m not confused.  It’s crystal clear who is interested in my accurate opinion.  You are.  That’s why you replied.

Complete and utter nonsense, these are fake government numbers and the real inflation numbers are likely closer to 21% . I travel back to the US 2 to 5 times a year, I have businesses back there and every time I go back there, every 6 months everyone of my staples is 10 to 15% higher.

Everyone that I talk to in the US is constantly moaning about the increase of prices, which has barely slowed down at all. Inflation is out of control, the economy is doing poorly, and consumer confidence is at an all-time low.

It's best to just ignore him, when he has nothing to say (most of the time), he just reverts to the same old nonsense. As you and I know there are a handful of posters on here that are best ignored completely.

“We have no idea what the rules are,″ said Rick Woldenberg, CEO of the educational toy company Learning Resources, who is part of a lawsuit challenging Trump’s authority to impose the tariffs. “The U.S. found it needed to back off the restrictions it had thought would generate leverage,” he said, “and in exchange, they get merely a promise by the Chinese to dole out critical minerals a bit more quickly.”

From your source: 🙂

"In an effort to pare down the federal workforce, the administration has instituted a hiring freeze that has coincided with the BLS restricting its data collection and expanding a process called imputation, in which it uses models to fill in incomplete data."

Oh, Monte. Ever heard of the expression "It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to post lame deflections and remove all doubt."?

It was me buddy, although I borrowed heavily from Mark Twain. Maybe you should listen, okay?👍
