- entered Thailand on a visa exemption 3 months ago,

- after 1 month, changed a visa-free stamp to a Non-O visa (retirement)

- now, after 2 months, will apply for a 1-year extension

1+2= It's been 3 months since entering the country.

Should I do 90-days report before applying for a 1-year extension?

No.

Your first extension serves as 90 day report start clock.

As DrJack54 said correctly you don't have a 90 day report due yet

You have to be on the same visa/extension MORE than 90 days to have to file a report, you came in visa exempt for 60 but even if you took the 30 day extension you're under the days needed to have to have filed a report

Same when you got the initial 90 day Non-O visa, it's only good for 90 days so again you aren't here on it long enough to have to file a report

When you get the first yearly extension they will put a small paper in your passport telling you when your first 90 day report has to be filed

So when you get your passport back from the immigration officers, LOOK thru it before you walk away for that paper, and if it's not there ASK them when your first report is due (it should be due 89 days from the date you apply for your year extension)

That paper looks like this
