Supreme Court Verdict on Thaksin’s Hospital Stay Set for September 9

Let's hope justice prevails and he is ordered to serve his sentence in prison like everyone else.  Then top it up with another 15 years for lese majeste.  Whether you agree that should be a criminal offence or not, it is one and he is definitely guilty for what he said in the Korean newspaper interview.

If he wants to run away again, let him use the same escape route as Yingluck, through Cambodia.  Drop him off at the border opposite a freshly laid mine field and count to 20.  If he is still upright and visible after that shoot him while trying to escape.

Thaksin has done enough damage to this country.  The last couple of years with him running the country behind two pathetic nominee PMs has been a complete shambles with his disastrous policies that caused the economy to tank in addition to all the usual corruption.  Enough is enough.

Of course he is guilty. Of course he will never be punished. EVERYTHING is for sale here. Thailand

ranks 107 th on the world corruption index for a reason.... "transparency.org"   2024 world corruption index. Check it out for yourself. Don't take my word for it.

Questionable Questionable please this Ahole had absolutely nothing wrong with him he has stolen billions of dollars from Thailand and when he is convicted he runs away to dubai and hides for 18 years until the military government that want to lock him up is out of power then he comes back and does Zero time in prison 5 minutes in the Royal suite in Bangkok hospital please this POS needs to be locked up... Let's not forget his Les Majesty charges or has he already worked is way out of those if so then all prisoners on the same charges need to be released immediately.

He managed to get the LM case deferred for a year to July 2025.  AFAIK it is now proceeding or will soon. Originally it seemed to have been shelved when he came back and the military, who had originally filed the case, got flak for not following it up.  Presumably it was ;part of his homecoming deal that the case should not be pursued but probably subject to certain conditions like not interfering in politics, as he promised.  It was revived about a year ago, presumably either because he had reneged on something or because the establishment grew tired of him, having forgotten how obnoxious he was when he was away.  Hopefully they will now seize the chance to get rid of him and his corruption and useless policies for ever.

they ( he and his family ) "dissed" the entire Nation  ..  I would find it hard to find anyone ( unless you're in a coma ) that does not dispise what they have done to Thailand

Hate is a personal thing in a personal context when you are inflicted personally by actions of somebody.

Dislike would the correct description.

And now I hope you will not fall into coma. Though, why not?

There is one in the West causing world wide financial mayhem, which is worse I think. Thaksin's shenanigans don't affect me and nobody ever thought that the Thai justice system was a model of propriety.

And both are convicted Felons

Look up the definition...nowhere does Merriam-Webster even suggest what you wrote.  Your pedantic nitpicking is ridiculous.

He returned on his private jet a picture of health it seems in the papers, once he landed straight to a 5 star suite no jail time and the thai doctors cured him slowly without stepping into prison.Of course now he has a easy parole and can do do what he wants except leave thru offical channels. His sister is still waiting for her chance  to return. All this happens and all legal it seems. No brown evenlopes and no corruption invloved of course will be the findings
