Iv'e just opened my Asean page and the 1st 5 threads are all basically American aimed threads has it been took over by them ??. Is there nothing of interest to them apart from Trump. If you live in Thailand why you bothered whats happening to the Country you left ?

Sympathize with your seeing predominantly US news. But while I left my country it was not my choice. I am an economic refugee able to live a working middle class retirement in a lower cost country so .... I did not leave in rejection of the USA. Fortunately, I am somewhat isolated from the current destruction but, it does not mean I am not mourning the demise of the hopes and promise that was the USA (not that close to the ideals was reached).

Some members thjames don't start threads but are happy chipping in to get a reaction. This member is a classic. I start threads that Ex Pat brits might like to follow because the UK media is biased and we are only told what we are told Not the truth. So you wil see post from me regarding migrant issues, policing, and UK politics, I certainly dont show countless videos of crimes that occur daily then blame others for it. For instance this morning a labour Councilor was cleared when he incited a mob to cut the throats of far right members on Camera. So the questions now is it two tier policing and will this labour councilor be kicked out of labour as he was suspended whilst the trial was on-going.

Did you ever think about just ignoring them. 

 

I scroll through about 12 hrs of new content before I finish my first cup of morning coffee.  Open a few threads in another tab, to maybe reply to, after I scroll through the rest, and done with AN before 2nd cup of coffee is finished.

 

Then pop in sporadically through the next 12 hrs, for a laugh, and maybe some food or movie inspiration, while reading and researching.

I even mentioned a few myself just yesterday, I think.  Mexico (not illegals entering USA), Guatemala & Belize.  Along with mentioning the Caribbean Isles many times.

Thanks to the speed at which maga man Trump is degrading the reputation of the USA it won't be very long until USA global influences wanes and then there will be fewer USA oriented topics here. Be patient.

I find this all very confusing because I'm reading on places like X and Threads that everybody in the world is now stunned by how powerful the US is and the extent to which the rest of the world looks up to the US......????
