  • I’m not so sure this has much to do with the homeless and more to do with having troops in place in case he feels he needs to stop elections or something similar.

Homeless to be flown straight to LA I imagine.   Overall violent crime dropped 35% in 2024 compared to 2023 — the lowest level in over 30 years........someone is due for the sack putting out

On Jan 6th, Trump sat eating burgers for hours, glued to the TV as 1,000 of his violent criminals attacked the Capitol — injuring over 140 police and leaving at least 5 dead.

He later pardoned them all and now toys with paying them compensation.

Yet five years too late, he now sends in 5,000 National Guardsmen over nothing more than someone’s bruised big balls.

Trump — the president of Law and Order… except when the criminals wear MAGA hats.

If Trump wasn''t the son of Fred, he'd likely be homeless.

Or he would likely be the 45th and 47th POTUS, how about that!

Looks like another huge win to add to Trumps amazing WINNING streak extravaganza. What say you haters?

Is removing the homeless from DC to other states solving the homeless problem. Don't need to be an Einstein to read his mind which state he will shaft the homeless. Theatrics with no real solution.

He will probably park them in Delaware where Mr Joe & Dr Jill Biden live.  I am sure they will recv them with open arms and wallets.

Five dead? That’s a lie.

There were 140 police injured? How many police were there all together

One would think a couple hundred armed police could handle a thousand unarmed rioters…..

I suggest the only lie here is yours.
I also suggest that what a MAGA thinks is somewhere no reasonable, informed, principled person would want to go.

He probably will since he has no policies to solve the homeless issues. The man is desperate to distract.

By “…reasonable, informed, principled person…” you mean a typical lying leftist, yes?

Yes — the “reasonable, informed, principled person” hat fits… it’s definitely not your size.

But no — being a leftist means dealing in facts, which is clearly anathema to you.

The homeless don't want to be homeless. They want jobs and affordable housing. Some have mental problems, for which should receive treatment - aah but many mental health facilities were closed on the 1970s. Can't remember which party decided that.

Of course, this doesn't address the REAL problem - why are they homeless in the first place? Until that's fixed (and it COULD be done in the wealthiest country in the written history of the planet), this is nothing but shallow cruelty. Finland and Japan have been very successful, why can't the US?

Oh yeah - greed.

nah many are bone idle, I'd  lick <deleted> of  shoes if I had no job...........and have done in years gone by..............bit like the  Thais not doing jobs that Cambodains Laos and Burmese do.

You can always find something if you put your mind to it. The amount of  actual homeless due to illness Id bet is quite small, too many handouts = idle

Laziness isn’t the driver — lack of affordable housing, mental illness, disability, domestic violence, and job loss are. HUD data shows around 40% of the homeless already work, just not enough to cover rent. “Too many handouts” is a myth — most aid is temporary and nowhere near enough to make idleness a lifestyle.

move where its cheaper, leave your violent partner, mental illness a  catchall for many stats and great excuse Im sure, job loss get on yer bike as Tebbit said, If you can live in a tent in DC you can do it elsewwhere where its  cheaper. Any handouts should be stopped.

“Move where it’s cheaper” — if you can’t afford rent, you can’t afford to move.
“Leave your violent partner” — easier said than done when safety and kids are involved.
Mental illness — real, not an excuse.
Job loss — happens to anyone, and there’s not always work waiting.
A DC tent in winter isn’t a lifestyle choice.
Cut all aid and you’ll see more homelessness, not less.

The court ruled that people could not be institutionalized against their will unless they had been convicted of crimes, or unless the court ruled that they were a menace to themselves or others.

The left loves to blame Reagan, but it was a civil rights issue.

So rather than hiring illegal aliens for domestic help, why do the rich not just hire homeless people those jobs.

We seem to have all these homeless people that want to work, so why do we need all the illegal aliens?

How do illegal aliens get to Los Angeles?

Not many families with children living on the streets of DC.

Do yiu think the state should be allowed to institutionalize people with mental illnessess against their will?

if you pay people less to work at Walmart, you get fewer people choosing to work at Walmart.

But if you pay people less to be homeless, you get more people choosing to be homeless.

Interesting.

Interesting ,who would have thought logic and common sense could slip so far out of your reach?

Straw man & false equivalence – "How do illegal aliens get to Los Angeles?"
Compares migrants with resources, networks, or jobs lined up to homeless people with none. Two situations that aren’t remotely alike.

Cherry picking – "Not many families with children living on the streets of DC."
Focuses on visible street homelessness while ignoring families in shelters or temporary housing.

Hasty generalization – "Most of the homeless are addicts."
One subgroup ≠ the whole population. Addiction rates are high, but so are mental illness rates — often overlapping — and neither erases poverty or housing shortages.

Loaded question – "Should the state institutionalize people with mental illness against their will?"
Traps the answerer into agreeing with a broader agenda, dodging the real causes of homelessness.

Oversimplification – "Jobs Americans won’t do?"
Ignores housing, transport, and living-wage barriers. Jobs existing “somewhere” isn’t the same as being viable.

False cause – "If you pay people less to be homeless…"
No evidence aid causes homelessness. Most aid barely covers food and hygiene; homelessness is already “paid” in misery, risk, and instability.

This isn’t about culture wars — for the homeless, it’s about staying alive for the day.

You can’t even form a coherent sentence.
Maybe just stick to copy-pasting right-wing talking points —
your one ‘ame idiocy aging’ makes your leader’s
man, woman, camera, TV sound like Shakespeare.
