Just want I don't care about:  two "famous people" having a slapping contest and a hissy-fit. 

As they are both public figures, Melania would have to prove that Biden acted with "malice" and prove it in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

Hunter pulled a Donny J here, by stating it as something someone else reported. Zero slander possibility, as Hunter just repeated what author Michael Wolfe has written. That is how Donny escaped a lawsuit from Obama by claiming he "heard" that Obama was born in Kenya. Whatever Hunter's flaws, he was masterful regarding this. Tough enough the old lady is dealing with hot flashes and facework gone wrong, but this has made her apoplectic. Props to Hunter!
