Congratulations Vladimir, you did it again. I am sorry, I don't know how to say congratulations in Russian language. The other one did not even understand how he got..... in front of the whole world

Exactly. The whole US-Russia negotiation story will remain as a master case of manipulation. I don't like Putin, but on this respect, he's been impressive so far.

If there were a manipulation Nobel price, Putin would be unanimously nominated! 🤣

  • As expected, Trump got played. Putin walked away with no sanctions, and an indefinite delay before any will be implemented.

  • The US and Trump humiliated by Putin. Trump winning? Guess that rules out the Nobel Peace Prize then?

I beg to differ look who he’s taking advantage of…..a blowhard who got were he is solely by the birth lottery. versus an obviously cunning cold heartless intelligent psychopath…

Trump really seems to relish that taco moniker.

"Only robust and credible guarantees in this regard can prevent new wars and aggression," Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni stressed.

To this end, Trump had taken up Italy's idea of a collective security clause modelled on Article 5 of the NATO treaty, according to Meloni.

This would enable Ukraine to count on the support of all its partners, including the United States, who would be ready to take action in the event of a renewed attack.

For a decade now, Vladimir Putin has been isolated on the world stage,” Psaki,  A political advisor who served under both the Obama and Biden administrations said, noting Russia’s ousting from the G8 in 2014 and the International Criminal Court’s arrest warrant for Putin in 2023. “Today that isolation ended and he was welcomed back on U.S. soil.”

She added: "That is the big victory for Vladimir Putin today.”

Fox News’ Senior White House Correspondent Jacqui Heinrich, who was reporting from Anchorage, said the Russian president “steamrolled” his U.S. counterpart.

Or like a shy teenage girl meeting her favorite boy band member.   It's cringey AF.

That would be a significant hardening of the US's and Europe's stance.

What a pathetic waste of time. Trump is WAYY out of his depth. How could the leader of the most powerful country be so inept and capitulating?

That little sht has steamrolled his way into getting half of Ukraine. Sincerely hope Zelensky tells the pair of them to go do one. Europe should grow a pair back, sideline the States and go all in to push them out—jets in the skies, boots on the ground. If it goes nuclear, so be it, because they’ll keep coming anyway. You want to win a war, you’ve got to be prepared to do anything. The US will never understand this mindset because they haven’t been invaded and their existence threatened. All their wars have been remote wars of convenience.

So your proposing WW3 ?. Ever consider that all Putin wants is a land bridge from mainland Russia to the warm water port Crimea? Because that's what all this is about. Just let him have it now, than after more years of a WW1 style war of attrition Russia will prevail in anyway.

I actually agree with you on this + restoration of the post ww2 borders.he has to be stopped even with the dire risk that entails in my opinion.(seems the Europeans agree btw)

Do you think diplomacy rather than seizure of Crimea is a better and sustainable option to get to the warm waters? No malice; just asking for your opinion.

Maybe you should ask Ukraine who is intent on destroying Russias Kerch Strait BridgeIMG_20250817_132754.jpg.eab902b0cec5d71016560c2b33a16c67.jpgIMG_20250817_132933.jpg.c4be12dc2be278d6f1d534bccf5b6a05.jpg

What Putin wants  - as a minimum - is a 'Greater Russia' encompassing Ukraine and Belarus (the latter is as near as damn it part of Russia already).

Maybe he wants more than that. The Europeans  and EU politicians who are controlled by anti American globalists want to drag the U.S. into a constant grinding down conflict with Russia. A war the American people do not want and question where are money is going. From George Washington:  The cost of these Europeon entangling "alliances" is not worth the small benefit to America.IMG_20250818_144150.jpg.c8078643fee3021b699ac2b1580363e3.jpgIMG_20250818_144150.jpg.c8078643fee3021b699ac2b1580363e3.jpg

Maybe he does which is one reason  Europe is concerned.

Who are these anti-American globalists?

Assuming that they exist, how exactly does a conflict with Russia, which weakens European economies, further their cause?

I'm yet to meet anyone in Europe who prefers war to peace, so I'm unsurprised that the US public are against it, or that they question where the money is being spent.

The US followed Washington's advice and did not become involved in Europe until WW1.

The US did not enter WW1 until 1917, when it became clear that Germany was a threat to the US and its' interests e.g. sinking of the Lusitania, Zimmerman telegram, Black Tom explosion, etc.  Similar story re WW2: Would the US have entered the conflict if Pearl Harbour had not occurred?

Post-WW2 the US's ideological fear of Communism and practical fear of the growing influence of the USSR led it to prop up Western Europe through the Marshall Plan and NATO.

(Western) Europe has good reason to be grateful for US support throughout the 20th century, but let's not pretend that this involvement was anything other than self-serving on the US's part.

Onto today: If the US wants to withdraw its' support of Western Europe that is obviously its' prérogative. However, that will almost inevitably have the effect of weakening the US's global influence. Is the US is happy to see China and, perhaps, an emboldened Russia exert more influence at its' expense?

Maybe sometimes it's better to stick with - and support - your old allies.
