Sure no fake products on Shopee

I wanted to purchase a bottle of apple cider vinegar with the mother, but of course I receive an obvious fake product, so I rejected it.

Then I went through some listings, and it is literally flooded with fake ACV.

This is from another seller, 6 years on Shopee, and sold more than 2K of the product. The brand is BRAGG. Take a look at the picture, and the buyer is of the impression that he got the real thing. 🤦‍♂️

And here another one from the same seller.

Try to find an original product in the electric/battery powered tools section.

And they don't misspell Makita or DeWall.

Brazen fakes.

Makita drill with two batteries for 459 Baht, side by side with another seller for 2700 Baht, one battery. One spare battery alone is usually in the range of 1000 Baht.

The list of examples is endless.

The 459 Baht is 4.9/5.0 rating, 16k sold.

So rating is for wiping your back.

The "misspells" take advantage of the fact that so many Thai people can't really read the alphabet.

So you can get this nice SANSUMG S24 Ultra for just 1379 Baht 😁

Shopee and lazada are full fake counterfeit junk. If you want to avoid the weedy junk on shopee then look on the Mall section where you’ll be paying the real price.

The products mentioned in the OP are not at discounted prices, it is a popular product, and the prices are in the same range with all sellers.

For 32 FL OZ Bragg ACV with the mother the prices range between 370 and about 480 baht depending on seller

This is the same product from a shop in the Mall section. Price is 624 baht. So Mall has as many fakes as the other section, only that you pay a premium for the fakes

I once got a fake Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar on Lazada. I happened to have a real bottle at home at the time, and the vinegar couldn't have been more different looking. Obviously totally fake. Lesson learned. Never again will I buy ACV anywhere except at a trusted store.

You got duped, be more careful next time.

Not only me who got duped, majority of buyers on Shopee and Lazada get duped.

It's not a matter of being careful, lots and lots of articles are fake, and that includes those from seller in the Mall section as you suggested, which is obvious from my last post

Those complaints are not about anything fake and obviously the buyers received old stock, the cider vinegar naturally darkens over time and will taste different, but absolutely nothing wrong with it, it’s just that the buyers aren’t familiar with it, and don’t think you are either.

That vendor is legitimate, you bought from a junk vendor. Learn your lesson and move on.

4400 sold with 44 less than perfect score, that’s 99%, and that’s difficult for most vendors anywhere on the globe.

ACV doesn't change in taste, as Mall seller with thousands of sales of the product obviously doesn't have old stock ever.

No the are fakes, but as a MAGA you are blind to the truth, and always want to have the last word.

The seller I bought from has SEVEN THOUSAND sales under that username, and 2000 under another username.

I didn't buy Bragg, because that FAKE stuff goes at a premium, so I went for Solana.

When you return a product, you are not allowed to post a review, so hundreds more may have been returned which can not warn other buyers

That is a really dumb statement and of course expected by a defensive naive gullible. Though the irony here is that you’re the one that got duped, not once but twice and you come here to let everyone know about it in a form of a complaint, silly.

The really dumb thing about your statement is that you can't read. Please point me to where I said I was duped twice, or even said I made 2 orders.

Of course expected by the dumb, blind, native cult followers

Only buy from authorized sellers.  Not exactly rocket science

It's also no rocket science to read what is posted. I posted links to a Mall listing, which according to your brother in arms is the way to go.

You can point me to an authorized BRAGG dealer?

I believe Bragg is no longer recommended, and another brand is, name I forget and too lazy to search on phone.

If hell bent on Bragg's inferior product, sure their FB page may tell where to buy in TH, in not wanting to order from iHerb.

Didn't bother researching the link info or photo info above, as don't use the phone to do much but read.

Caveat Emptor - this phrase has been around for millennia.

I can only assume some shifty Roman street hawkers were selling dodgy apple cider vinegar long before Lazada was thought of. :coffee1:

I have bought all sorts of stuff. I don't buy high end expensive stuff or anything that purports to be something it isn't. Although I did buy an exhaust described as  SuperTrapp. For me that was more a technical description than a brand. It is brilliant for the price. It does just what i wanted.

Bought an impact wrench. least powerful one I could find for motorcycle. Branded as Molita. Irrelevant.  it was around 1000 baht and it works fine. If it didn't I would have simply binned it and started again. Caveat emptor.

Based on its performance I bought a Molita drill. Not so good but it does work. I don't undo enough fasteners or drill enough holes to spend 4500 Baht on a Makita impact or DeWalt drill.

Surely they can only be "fake" if one is mesmerised by western brand names for products made in China but marketed in, say, the US. Misspelling is mostly to deceive Chinese buyers I believe. But interestingly if they can't read English type how do they even know Samsung is the one and not Sansumg in the first place?

If one is simply buying a product without a brand name how can it be fake. Unless you order ACV and receive water.

BTW PW Nature Farms way up in Phayao sells ACV they ship all over.
