Price is marginally important but better to have a company who would prepare their car to go on such a journey rather than just book a Bolt and find a driver who has been up all night driving an ancient car which has 3 bald tyres, no spare and who is only motivated by the thought of the money he could earn.

 

Preferably either a decent SUV or a Camry and up size vehicle.

You don't need to be here to ask this. Most hotels will have someone they use, most locals have a brother-cousin-uncle with a vehicle who will run you down there. Ask around.

 

Me? I'd jump the bus in Phuket Town to Krabi, there is a lorry that runs you to Ao Nang from Krabi Town stop.
