Getting A Drinks Licence?

Hey,

Does anyone here have experience of getting a drinks licence, we're simply after one so we can sell Ice coffee and chocolate at a massage shop we are planning to open in the near future.

I'm after info such as the price, is there only one single licence that allows you to sell any amount/types of drinks as you want - so you have to get the same licence as a pub or a restaurant, are there requirements to be met before hand - HAACP or health officials that have to come out and inspect the preparation area etc. before it is granted, is it easy or difficult to get?

We simply want to be able to sell those two products.

A quick chat with sunbelt gave me all the info on the legal requirement/steps for the set up of the shop but couldn't help with any of the above info.
