The appeasement of Putin needs to end.  He needs a punch in the face.

BTW..I'm enjoying watching the slow collapse of the Russian economy and slow collapse of the Russian army.

and that makes 2 of us, if the new set of sanctions get out, the funding of the Russian war machine will collapse

  • One has to wonder for how long Russia has already been on its last legs and about to collapse ?? ...fact is Ukraine,NATO, EU is collapsing  while Russia forges ahead with ties to BRICS  countries

  • you don't deserve an answer but just a question, have you been to Russia and checked the veracity of their arsenal or is it just Putin blablabla claiming her has them

  • Russia is not a "paper tiger" per sa, but more like an incompetent, indifferent, and utterly corrupt entity, especially in the military. Their tactics and attitude towards fighting and their soldiers

Well yes   you don't get to where he is by being a choir boy.

My point is at least he is calm and rational  if he is overthrown/replaced/assassinated   then who knows what the next leader  will be like.

Me think that if Putin will get assassinated, maybe the next Russian president will get the hint.

Yes history   from which we can learn ( a few things maybe)

JFK  wanted to stop the war in Vietnam  but his successor carried it on.

The other crisis arose from Viet Nam. Despite Johnson’s efforts to end Communist aggression and achieve a settlement, fighting continued. Controversy over the war had become acute by the end of March 1968, when he limited the bombing of North Vietnam in order to initiate negotiations. At the same time, he startled the world by withdrawing as a candidate for re-election so that he might devote his full efforts, unimpeded by politics, to the quest for peace.

When he left office, peace talks were under way; he did not live to see them successful, but died suddenly of a heart attack at his Texas ranch on January 22, 1973.

hmmmmmm   ????

Russian propaganda's response is that Russia is not a paper tiger.

It's a bear.

Like Winnie the Pooh?

Russia really is a paper tiger, his losses keep mounting on a daily basis, Ukrainians are kicking his axx big time and he better keep his losses as they are, now that he knows Trump promises at the Alaska meeting backfired and Trump will stab him on the back and will throw him under the bus, he should pack and leave or he will be totally destroyed and maybe killed, however he still have a good sense of humor 😄 look at what he said

President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday accused Kyiv of trying to destabilise Russian society 🤣🤣and said the Russian government would implement additional measures to offset the consequences of the strikes.
