I would imagine very popular with convicted thieves from Saudi Arabia.

unfortunately, the place is always empty, as they cant open the door to get in!!

The original is on Rama IV near Silom/Suriwongse.

Been around for 20 year.

Actually, it was Privilege Club above New Wave.

Both sold and presdently under renovation. Seems the new ownerr makes upstairs a Jazz Club.

Not New Wave but Blue Wave..

And the Privilege Club was a dining place where the hostesses fed you and after the main course I guess they continued for interco... I mean desert..

Now closed and as far as I heard it's gonna be a coctail lounge.

To bad really what they have done to Blue Wave now...

Topprofile, you are right, sorry, typed from memory but Blue- und New Wave (Sukh Soi 7) had the same owner, I believe.

The last Iheard early July that the Blue Wave should get Plasma TV geben, new menus und ladies to take out.

Upstairs complete redecoration, Jazz-Club and lounge with probably ladies to help you along to listen.

OK, so one has to listen to Jazz i.o. being fed.

Last time I been there with some business partners, the steak was ok, the price ridiculous, my hands were free to gesticulate while talking business...

Not sure if all no hands restaurants are all the same but in my belief you are spoon fed by attentive hostesses whilst sitting at a dining table,

The dining table being draped with a tablecloth that reaches to the floor,

I will leave to your immagination the purpose of the tablecloth

(my freind told me this honestly )

Mystery after mystery. Privilege is closed, and there have been no table cothes, either, also the lights have been quite low and nearly completely dimmed after dinner.

I usually left after food to leave my clients in their privacy (and with the bill )

They used to show up a bit later with smiles on their faces. Must have been the steak (no, I ate that as well) or perhaps the desert, couldn't say, I am on diet.

Just heard rumours from a friend that Blue Wave closed last night because they didn't pay the police. And that doesn't seem to be be the only problem the new manager has...

Hope to see old Blue Wave back as it was soon...
