The way you are rewriting and reinterpreting history is unbelievable: the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) did not invade Lebanon. Instead, the PLO relocated its headquarters and military forces to Lebanon in the early 1970s after being expelled from Jordan. There was no mass flight or kicking out of Jews after the founding of Israel in 1948. Most just left for their newly created Jewish only country. Too bad none of the Lebanese Jews moved to Israel. They could have taught the Zionists how Jews, Christians and Muslims could live together in peace and harmony. The Zionists could have even learned from the Palestinians who have been living there next to Christians and Jews for centuries peacefully. Unfortunately in their narrow minded and greedy minds there can be only an exclusively Jewish state, so they founded the first terrorist organizations in the Middle East and the rest is sad history. The PLO did not intentionally orchestrate a deliberate strategy to pit sects against each other. Israel invaded Lebanon which lead to the foundation of Hezbollah by Lebanese Shia clerics in 1982. Israel stole land from Lebanon calling it security zone or buffer zone. How many times have I heard this empty BS promise: "Once Hezbollah/Hamas/PLO/Iran/Iraq/Qatar/Syria/Yemen is destroyed / the hostages are free, then and only then but for sure then ... Israel/the IDF will have no reason to ....." All the horrors and the hell on earth in the Middle East, to use your description, started because one people lack the ability to live in peace with other people within the same borders. They have this paranoia that other people want to harm them and in order to prevent that they keep harming other people. Or in numbers: Since the foundation of Israel in 1948 about 5500 Israelis have been violently killed by Palestinians in attacks and hostilities. In the same time more than 136,000 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and up to as many as 200,000 to 350,000+ when accounting for the full scope of indirect casualties. They could have founded a state for all the people in the area and lived next to each other peacefully same as in the centuries before, but they chose to turn into the monsters, which once massacred their ancestors adapting their racial beliefs into their racial-religious beliefs and seeing the other side as some kind of subhuman, born to be stolen from and exterminated.
