October 24, 2025Oct 24 Afternoon, Just a quick one to see if anyone else is having issues with these tyres. I fitted a new set of these Michelin tyres in recent weeks but am having some issues with them feeling strange on my Honda 160 click... difficult to describe!! Has anyone else fitted these on there Honda click 160? Any problems at all, would appreciate any feedback. Regards, DG
October 24, 2025Oct 24 Can't help, don't use ... ... but, since I live semi rural, I guess 'City Grip 2' wouldn't be much help to me ... ... I'll get my coat and see myself out 🙄

My suggestion would be to get them checked and balanced if it hasn't been done already. I've also had tires that felt bad from day one and just got rid of them. It felt like they were rolling on one of those grated roads that the government here is so fond of creating. Good luck !
October 24, 2025Oct 24 I put these on my scooter and since feels that it's sliding a bit towards the slide when I ride over a certain speed on a long road.
October 24, 2025Oct 24 Have your wheels ever been balanced? My manual says that after changing tires, the wheel should be balanced. (Just a suggestion.)
October 25, 2025Oct 25 Check if they actually did put the tire the right way, tire pressure, balanced as the others says, and new tires should feel smooth if they did the job the correct way For Michelin City tires, the direction of rotation is indicated by an arrow on the tire's sidewall. The arrow should point in the direction the tire will spin when the vehicle is moving forward. If the tire is specifically marked "Front" and "Rear," ensure the "Front" tire is on the front wheel and the "Rear" tire is on the rear wheel, as the tread patterns are often designed differently for each position and their arrows may be in opposite directions
October 25, 2025Oct 25 Some good points. I haven’t replaced my tires yet on my Vespa. I always service at the Vespa shop well before the service interval. Is balancing the norm at motorbike shops when charging tires or must one request it? Not being allowed into the service area one never really knows what was done. Language barrier can cause confusion too.

Maybe the problem was your previous tyres. Tyres can make your bike ride differently. Ride for a few days, take it easy, readjust your riding technique, I'm sure you'll get used to the new feel.
October 25, 2025Oct 25 ADV160; Replaced original with City Grip 2. Fitted at a higher standard garage due to the specific directional requirements differing from front and rear. No issues for me, a change of tires can make a big difference to the feel/handling and will take time to adjust.
October 26, 2025Oct 26 I always had Pirelli on my Forza but I'm going to get City Grip 2 for the rear next time - better wet grip they say... (!?) , you must describe the issue at least somewhat, otherwise just feel strange is not going to be any use to help you...! As others mentioned new tyre shape feel different in handling, specially when cornering, I had that before, but after getting used to it, felt it was better...!

Michelin city 2 shouldn’t make any difference on the negative side, and rather be a smooth experience or transition from any other tire.
