Outrage as Migrant Sex Offender Gets £500 Before UK Deportation

Wanna bet?

I don't follow UK immigration closely, but we've got illegals who have been deported over half a dozen times walking around the USA.  Many with rapsheets as long as my arm.

The UK is a country that mistakenly released this man from prison, one of the most high profile prisoners of the last 6 months, a few days into his ridiculously lenient 12 month sentence. Then needed the public to find him as he wandered the streets, and then paid him 500 quid to get on the plane. 😄

Anyone suggesting he could not get back into the country via small boat is hugely over-estimating the competency of the UK border force/authorities.

In return for 500 or 3000 GBP, they should get a tattoo on their left hand so they can't sneak back in.  No tattoo?  No exit gift...

They did.......but then ended up with Labour.

Nice idea, but the ECHR lawyers would be all over that.

Using UK taxpayers money. 😄

A lot cheaper than the Rwanda plan, which cost £700,000,000 to deport 4 individuals, each of whom were paid £3,000 to volunteer to leave.

No comparison to this sick case.

Yep.

They dived into a barrel of mouldy sausages and came up sucking a turd.

My feelings entirely but you have a such a special way with words.

Perhaps the country needs an alternative political option, without the crappy sausages.

He should have been quickly and quietly deported - minus his testicles.

Is he back in the UK yet?

Once again misrepresenting why your Tory Marty was sentenced to prison.

Once again jumping on a sideline issue that has nothing to do with the topic, of a filthy sex abuser and failed asylum seeker being rewarded with a payout, probably to be put towards his boat ride back. Nothing in the Guardian about it then?

He should never have been deported until he served his sentence-IN FULL  And as for a 12 month prison sentence, for sexual abuse of a child - what was the Judge thinking of.   Sexual abuse of a child warrants a death sentence, and in its absence a WHOLE LIFE sentence with no perks whatsoever!

You're probably right.  That's why I wouldn't make it mandatory.  Just if they want that juicy exit bonus...

Tweet about immigrants and you get 31 months jail (assuming you are the wife of a Tory councilor).

Failed state.

Yes, as I said, madness.  Unbelievable madness.

He’s been deported back to Ethiopia.

A positive result.

Just put the Navy in the channel and sink the fkrz boats.

Thank s to the Dublin agreements on Asylum that illustrate the absurdity of the European Union who imposed such absurd rules all over Europe or the UK. The Europen union is plainly destroying the european continent. But people seem not to mind, so fine...until it get's out of hand.

This lot in small boats are the trickle before the flood due to climate extremes changing habitable zones + wars.

Swamped soon enough as the EU leadership are ball-less middle class la-de da's.

I think that this was a practical decision made on the spot just to get him on the plane.

Apparently, he threatened to kick off at the airport which would have led to the Captain refusing to board him. Another flight would have cost thousands.

Also, he could have appealed his deportation which would have meant he wasn't deported and the legal costs would have been tens of thousands.

Sticks in the throat a bit but I think it was the right decision. Now he is gone and never coming back.

Unless he jumps in a rubber boat or a truck with a new name and demands another free hotel room.

The UK has an open door policy for paedophiles, misogynists and terrorists, and even provides free accommodation, police protection and free flights home.  Why stay in a s#1t hole like Ethiopia or Afghanistan with such a good offer from 'Great' Britain.

Totally agree. That should be a rule with no exceptions. If you arrive illegally then you cannot apply for asylum. Deported at the very earliest opportunity.

It won't happen again. It's just a case of how much damage they do before 2029, assuming the country doesn't descend into chaos before then.

It quite possibly will, albeit with a majority "Reform" government, possibly without the overwhelming popular support that their results may lead one to imagine - just like Labour!

I was never much of a fan of proportional representation, I always thought of it as counting the vote, and then counting it again, and again, until eventually the Liberal Democrats got in! The events of the last 15 years have led me to change my mind, and I am now convinced that some sort of PR is needed. It was always presented as producing weak ineffective governments, I look at Johnson, Truss, and the present bunch however...

Incidentally, the Lib Dems, long enthusiasts on the matter have gone jolly quiet, can't imagine why!
