Target121 yes its possible and has been done by many people myself inclded. I would say that 2-3 weeks is a bit optomistic. Its a big country and theres lots to see. My wife and I are planning another trip for next month taking in Hua Hin, Kanchanaburi, Nakon Sawan, Mae hon Sot, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai. Pai, Khon Khen, Ratchaburi then back to Chumphon. We are looking to do this in around 6-8 weeks as we are never in a hurry here. A good source of info is http://www.gt-rider.com/ Lots of routes and tales from pople who have done it. Whatever you choose to do get a good helmet and never be in a rush to get anywhere. Theres some great biking to be had here Enjoy :o

Chavy beat me to it with the gt riders web site. I would not like to do it on a wave. The guy must have no arse left. Once did Hua Hin to Ranong and that was murder. They are just not made for distance. Respect to the guy :o

Seconded what H2O says, take the time to take in the country...it's worth it

By the way H2O, do you have a touring bike? I bought a CB 750 not so longback & have been right through re repairs re-spray etc etc, I need a new seat though & this is my stumbling block...I just can't find where to buy...have any ideas mate? :o

Chavy, I got my self a Triumph Rocket 3 a couple of months months ago to replace he Yamaha XV 1000. I've had all types of bike but the Rocket takes the medal. It brings a big grin to my face every time I get on it. PM me the details of the bike you have and I'll ask some of my Friends to put the word out. I found joining the local bike group a great help. You tend to get pointed in the right direction for repairs, spares and bikes for sale. You also get to ride out with other bikers which makes for a god day out. Cheers Dunc :o
