Scott Mallon has lived in LOS for 30 years and his channel has been around for years.  He seems like he is always on a rant but that's just his style.  I agree with many of the points in thsi video (Thailand Loves Tourists not Exparts).  

 

 

I stopped watching before the inevitable rant about paying an extra 40 baht at Thai national parks. Thailand needs foreign income... that's the only reason she tolerates tourists or expats. Requirements for long-term expats are significantly easier than those in most of our home countries.  I am embarrassed to see a fellow American complaining about treatment in Thailand, considering how the USA treats folks these days 🙄

I dont pay much heed to expat whining about SE Asia, especially from my fellow Americans.
