How many out there feel that it's possible (or not) to have very strong feelings for your long-term live-in, and 'another'?

You should absolutely never leave your friends behind. 

It depends if you're holding onto your long term partner out of duty or because you still love her. I think men are naturally polygamous, but motive, such as religion and culture, can change this.

Definitely, but in different ways. This has very often been the case when in spite of a mostly happy marriage some people have affairs.

However, when the bible says you cannot serve two masters, that is absolutely right. Loving two women can never work out in the long run. Not just due to the exorbitant expenses, but many other reasons.

 

It is much better to focus on one woman only. That is the path success.

yes, that's why the mistress on the side thing (or hookers on the side) has been what most men do. because the mistresses don't require much upkeep apart from some money.

 

a real relationship requires way too much emotional and time and energy investment and spreading it across two women probably won't work. you will likely lose both, in my opinion.
