Thailand has accused Cambodia of committing war crimes, claiming attacks on Thai civilian areas and mishandling of soldiers’ bodies. The allegations include Cambodia's violations of international humanitarian law and threats to regional peace. Thailand's Joint Press Centre revealed this explosive information on Sunday, aiming to draw international scrutiny to the matter.

According to the Joint Press Centre, Cambodia has been occupying Thai territory and establishing military bases in civilian zones. This, they say, is an illegal act of using civilians as human shields, violating international humanitarian protocols. The ongoing conflict escalated with rockets and artillery damaging Thai homes and civilian infrastructure, which Thailand claims are direct breaches of international law.

The report also highlights systematic provocations by Cambodia involving troop movements and cross-border gunfire. These actions contradict ceasefire agreements and pose a serious threat to regional stability. Furthermore, Thailand accuses Cambodia of neglecting human rights by not retrieving fallen soldiers from battlefields and failing to treat the deceased with dignity.

In response, Thailand has called for the global community to evaluate the conflict based on facts and international laws, eschewing distorted information or propaganda. This appeal for global intervention underscores the seriousness of tensions between neighbouring nations, according to the Bangkok Post.

I don't understand. Thailand says that Cambodia is breaching ceasefire, while in another article they mention that Thailand has claimed land back that is of Cambodia...

Is/was it a war?

Thailand has never committed war crimes, has it?

Thailand has never committed crimes against humanity, has it?

Thailand never engages in human rights abuses as it has signed and ratified several international human rights protocols, correct?

Bangkok's leadership is as crooked at that tower in Italy.
