those who are nicked (or indeed dead) do not deal drugs - but a large part of the police force do

The dead in the last drug war came to more than 7,000 actually. Let's just hope this doesn't happen again

Does this mean that the existing system still involves writing and searching into mountains of ledgers? :o

I thought that the army controlled all the major drug movement.

I thought that the army controlled all the major drug movement.

that's another part of the story.

When the "illigitimate" drug dealers start moving into the territory of the "legitimate" drug dealers, then trouble starts!

In the West cetral databases of all criminal offenders have been in place for decades. Does anyone think they don't have similar databases of suspect drug dealers, too?

Thailand is just catching up.

Surely they should do this work in secrecy, and then act upon it??

If they advertise what is going on, it negates the effect...........

Mind you it looks good, with the prospect of an election on the horizon. :o
