Mike, additional sad observation that the trump/Project 2025 goal of having the deathly elite rule ... USA, sure, but globally. The irony here is that a bit behind the curtain they already do rule.

The Golden Trump Fascist curtain!

Let’s be clear on this. The Security Council resolution approved the Board of Peace for Gaza and included establishing a security force in Gaza. Trump has hijacked this resolution and has no legal right to broaden the mandate for his fantasy creation of a new international organization. With most democratic countries not participating, I am anticipating TACO of another crazy Trump’s foreign policy wet dream.

Let us never overlook the fact that he has appointed himself as the chairman of this board for life, it kind of reminds one of Uganda and other banana republics.

Board of peace = another trump shakedown. Each country must pay a billion dollars for a permanent seat, in cash, and paid directly to him. It’s amazing some countries have signed up but when you look at the list you realise it’s an effort to curry favour and power with the demented nut job, nothing else. He isn’t intelligent enough to negotiate jack <deleted> as demonstrated on the world’s stage regularly and most recently in Davos. He rambled about talking to Macron about drug prices, a conversation that never happened. One thing he did learn was the Europeans aren’t intimidated by his lies, racist bullying delusional rhetoric and aren’t afraid like those pathetic politicians in America who fail miserably to stand up to the loser. His board of peace will fail, just like all his other scams. He’s biggest shyster on the planet nothing else and the sooner he’s gone the better.

Bingo!

"Board of Peace" looks more like a global neo-Nazi-Fascist organization.

Wow, that's how you see it?

This is how I see it.

For the last 1000 years, the West has been calling all the shots.

NATO, G7, WEF ...

Now, Trump has a bunch of under-represented marginalized countries in his club who never had a voice. When the eff has Kazakstan ever been asked what they think about anything?

Odd that Tony Blair is there, but not the current PM of UK. Not sure what that means.

But your neo-Nazi thesis sounds like bs to me.

The word "nazi" seems to be being way over-used on this forum lately.

So what if it's legit and Trump is truly trying to move towards peace in the middle east?

And the countries that are not joining are countries that want the war in the middle east to continue?

They don't want to be on a board with Russia and/or Netanyahu, want to avoid association with a vile exploitation of the Gazans.

Blair has a terrible record in the Middle East. It sounds like he's Israel's choice.

Don't you mean;

"it's a beautiful board, the biggest most beautiful board in the world. A great beautiful board that only I can produce and as such is an object that is revered around the world and that every leader in the world praises me for"!

PS; Abridged version as the original is too large to be posted on AN"

Reminds me of an old fable, which has so many similarities to trump's hopes and dreams......

The King and the Tower of Dust....a cautionary tale.

Once, in a land where the sun shone fiercely, lived a King named Ozias. He was not a cruel man, but he was a proud one. He was the most powerful ruler the world had ever known. His armies were countless, and his treasuries brimmed with gold.

Ozias was not satisfied, however. He wanted to be remembered forever.

"Everything decays," he told his ministers. "But I will build something that defies time itself."

He commissioned the construction of the Tower of Eternity. He ordered the best architects, the strongest masons, and thousands of laborers to build a monument in the center of the capital. It was made of solid black granite, studded with rubies, and tipped with a lightning rod of pure gold. It was designed to reach the heavens.

The project took twenty years, bankrupting the kingdom and exhausting its people, but it was completed. The Tower of Eternity was magnificent. At its base, Ozias had inscribed:

"I am King Ozias, Master of the World. Look upon my works, ye mighty, and tremble."

Ozias spent his days admiring his tower, ignoring the crumbling homes of his subjects and the weakening walls of his city.

Years later, a traveler from a distant land approached the capital. He expected to see the grand tower from miles away. Instead, he saw only a vast, flat desert. He approached an old man sitting on a mound of black sand.

"Where is the city of King Ozias?" the traveler asked. "And where is the Tower of Eternity?"

The old man smiled sadly and pointed to the black sand beneath them. "You are standing on it."

The traveler was shocked. "But it was made of solid granite!"

"So it was," the old man replied. "But the king forgot that the desert wind and the relentless sun care nothing for the pride of men. The tower did not fall in a day. It cracked slowly. The sand blew into the cracks, and then the rain came. Over time, the great tower was worn down, grain by grain, until it became just another dune in the desert."

The traveler looked closer and saw, half-buried in the black sand, a broken stone slab. On it, the words were barely legible: "Master of the World."

The Moral:
The greatest works of human pride are no match for time and nature.
True legacy is not built in stone, but in the hearts of the people, which lasts longer than any monument.
