Multiple Entry O 90 Day Exit And Re-entry

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

I have to do my first Multiple Entry Non-Imm 'O' 90 day exit and re-entry from Mae Sai in the next few weeks and I just have some queries if anybody can help out please.

Regarding the 20,000baht cash rule for an 'O' visa, can anybody say from experience whether you must show cash or would an ATM slip or Bank book with balance suffice? I would prefer not to be carrying 20,000 baht cash around anywhere, especially in Myanmar.

Also, since my 'O' visa is based on marriage to a Thai what documents do I need to bring to re-enter Thailand eg marriage cert, wife's house book etc?

Your help, as always, is much appreciated.

Kind regards,

Hill16

I am in and out on a marriage based non O all the time and have never been asked for anything. Not sure mate.

Do not believe you will be asked but am sure if you had atm card/bank book there would not be a big problem. Very, very unlikely you will be asked.

You should not be asked for any documentation of marriage - your visa is a visa and that is all they normally care about. When I was making border crossings I always carried a copy of marriage certificate with me but never needed it for anything.
