Didn't the Iranian leadership kill thousands of their own people recently?

Russia does that since 4 years too. So where is the difference now?

Anything to take people's minds off the Trump Epstein papers. Americans don't care about Iranians no more than they care about street people in America. The money used for weapons could have saved a lot of people inside the states.

I think this is the 8th country that he's bombed so far in 13 months? Nice work for a guy who falsely claimed to be the one who was going to stop "Democratic Wars".

Another aspect of this whole thing that seems to be getting lost on many forum members is the fact that though the US may have the largest military in the world, they have a absolute dunce (who wouldn't be qualified to lead the San Diego County of the Boy Scouts) as Sec Def, which automatically disqualifies them from being a competent and formidable force. Tiny Pete is an embarrassment to the entire military, and is truly despised and disrespected all the way up and down the ranks.

Just one example of their incompetency. I'm sure we'll see many others during this Iran campaign waged by the War President.

The US military used an anti-drone laser system to shoot down a unmanned aircraft operated by US Customs and Border Protection in Texas, according to congressional representatives.

The incident comes just weeks after use of a laser system near El Paso led to confusion and exposed communication lapses among several US agencies.

“Our heads are exploding over the news that DoD reportedly shot down a Customs and Border Protection drone using a high risk counter-unmanned aircraft system,” three Democrats on the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure said in a statement.

And this is the same Pentagon that's responsible for conducting a war in Iran? I wonder how that's going to go?

Oh boy that is too bad. Of course, the best way to free the poor Iranians is not to cut the head off the islamic snake but to airlift the mullahs BILLIONS of $$ in used banknotes(and then censor that fact on political discussion forums to stop woke sheeples waking up)?

Can any non syndromers honestly state which policy has the best chance of freeing these long suffering Iranians?

🤣

Are you so obtuse to think this is a war to free the Iranian people?Especially after the way he’s treated Ukraine??that’s nonsense it’s a 2 part war in my view a distraction from Epstein and to stop Iran from getting nukes…..wanna bet your Donnie’s love interest little Kim wouldn’t sell them a few?

The President who promised ‘no more wars’ now leads a major Iran strike dubbed ‘Epic Fury’ — its timing suggests ‘Epstein Farce’ might be nearer the mark.

Iran is hitting many targets but mainstream media is only reporting 2 hits

A ridiculous meme! 🤣

Kim certainly doesn't worry, because NK has nukes and missiles!

No country is fully safe unless it has nukes. That's one of the lessons Iran has learned.

It seems that some don't like Iranian retaliation on US bases. They would prefer retaliation where?

The president sidestepped reporters' queries about Iran, but paused just long enough to praise his new White House statues.

One reporter asked about the operation’s objectives. Another asked who Trump wanted to lead Iran since Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in the attack.

Instead of answering, Trump stopped to admire new statues of Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin in the Rose Garden.

“Unbelievable statues,” he said as reporters shouted their questions. “You’ll see. Come and look at them.”

Another journalist asked if he had a message to the families of the three U.S. service members killed in the conflict.

Trump just walked away.

This is called leadership - isn't it?🤮

I didn't expect that you too think that the new statues of Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin in the Rose Garden are more important than the war he initiated. Who cares about dead soldiers and civil casualties?! You and Trump obviously not.

I love all of the old videos of both Trump and Vance declaring that the United States should not be going forth overseas in search of monsters to slay.
Yet.
Once in office, they've thrown all of the campaign promises out the window and have begun blowing up the world to project US interests aboard.

Wait for the mid-terms. Then we will collectively find out what the American people think about the President telling them to ****-off.
"Dear Plebs - your opinions regarding US foreign policy don't mean a thing to me, Donald J. Trump, rightful ruler of the world." 🤮

Good move. Iranians are mostly ok but the leadership is evil.

I disagree. US propaganda frames them as "evil" in order to manufacture the consent of the American public to allow Trump to go forth overseas and engage in military adventurism for the benefit of US corporations and the bank accounts of his family dynasty.

Most American can't find Iran on a map, no less understand the difference between followers of Shia Islam as opposed to Sunni Wahabbi, Takfiri "head-choppings." The average "Christian" or non-religious American just lumps them all together.

"...but their leadership is evil."
You're just parroting US propaganda points like a clone. Study, learn, travel, question all state propaganda.

How about those of us who unequivocally support the uS Government

I don't mean to be disrespectful, but honestly, that is very low-quality thinking which is typical of zealots and ideologues. I question the motives and actions of every country on the planet, including the United States government. Especially - the United States government as they have been in unending wars of aggression since the day I was born until present. You should be open to the fact that the United States government is an amoral aggressor nation which has been blowing up other countries since the inception of what was once the US Republic, now an openly Empire-oriented entity. But as an ideologue, you see the US as a country that can do no wrong. I've gotta disagree with that, so you're open to critique.

Yep, the warmongering president did it yet again, breaking just another one of the thousands of promises he made, this one was a doozy as he's been promising not to get American involved in overseas adventures for years now, and has been deeply critical of democrats for doing so.

The world has watched Mr. Trump launch military operations in Iran, Yemen, Somalia, Nigeria, Iraq and Syria; capture and remove Venezuela’s leader, Nicolás Maduro, from power; threaten to use military force to take control of Greenland; pressure Mexico to allow U.S. troops in the country to target fentanyl labs; and direct an air campaign to kill suspected drug smugglers at sea.

We Americans have begun another Middle Eastern war based on dubious intelligence claims, and as in 2003, I fear we haven’t thought through the substantial risks and uncertain gains.

But air wars alone have a poor record of overthrowing leaders: The United States under Presidents Joe Biden and Trump spent more than $7 billion bombing Yemen and couldn’t dislodge even the weak, unpopular and poorly armed Houthis.

And as with Iraq in 2003, a war is not necessarily the best tool to deal with a brutal and hostile government. There are more problems in international relations than solutions, and in the past the illusion of an easy military answer has repeatedly caused tragedy for ourselves as well as for others.

Trump created a nuclear crisis with Iran in part by tearing up the imperfect nuclear accord that President Barack Obama had reached with the ayatollahs; if we had remained in the deal, it seems to me we would be in a safer place today — and at peace.

You speak as the use of nuclear weapons in today's day and age will have no consequence for the aggressor who uses them. That's a good way to view a nuclear winter up-close and personal, well, if you not near ground zero that is.

I can hear it now, "Israel had to nuke Iran to defend itself."
Then every country on the planet breaks out nukes, declared and undeclared, with the intent of "defending themselves."

The end result. "Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds."

I asked google how many armed conflicts there has been since the WW2 ended and how many the US started.

"According to reports citing data from 1945 to 2001, the United States initiated 201 of 248 armed conflicts in 153 regions, accounting for roughly 81% of such conflicts worldwide

. While formally declaring war only five times, the US has engaged in over 200 military conflicts since WWII, often described as undeclared wars, interventions, or operations.

Wikipedia +4

Key Details on U.S. Conflicts Since 1945:

  • Total Conflicts: Studies indicate the US initiated 201 conflicts between 1945 and 2001, often categorized as illegal or unilateral interventions.

  • Examples: Major conflicts included the Korean War (1950–1953), Vietnam War (1961–1975), and more recent interventions in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, and Syria.

  • Nature of Actions: The majority of these conflicts were not formally declared wars by Congress but rather military interventions, peacekeeping missions, or "police actions".

  • Definition Ambiguity: The total number can vary significantly depending on whether authorized military operations, smaller interventions, or intelligence-backed actions are counted, with some sources listing up to 235 distinct military engagements.

    Wikipedia +8"

And that was just 1945 - 2001 how many more has there been from 2001 - 2026.

Makes you wonder just who is the biggest warmonger or terrorist country in the world today

But you have the key: Munitions = Revenues = Profits

The Military Industrial Complex makes a $$$ killing $$$ on killing. Winning or losing isn't even in the equation.

https://www.reuters.com/world/us/pentagon-tells-congress-no-sign-that-iran-was-going-attack-us-first-sources-say-2026-03-02/

In the briefings, administration officials emphasized that Iran's ballistic missiles and proxy forces in the region posed an imminent threat to U.S. interests, but there was no intelligence about Tehran attacking U.S. forces first, the two sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, told Reuters.

Predictably, US blue on blue losses have started, with losses of several US aircraft over Kuwait. RAF Typhoon pilots, take note. We know what happened before.
