Apparently the right wing white-racists MAGA base is opposed to Israel. There are several high profile influencers very anti-Zionist and anti-Israeli influence in US politics. Tucker Carlson for one.

Still, that doesn't amount to much.

Supporters of Donald Trump’s Make America Great Again base overwhelmingly support the war in Iran, with nearly 90 percent backing the president’s military attacks, according to the polls.

CNN’s Chief Data Analyst Harry Enten shared recent polling on MAGA’s approval of military action in Iran on Tuesday. An average of 89 percent approve of the war, while just 9 percent disapprove.

I think it’s ridiculous that MAGA supports the war in Iran. It just shows how brainwashed they are.

The whole ethos behind MAGA is to focus on America and not getting involved in other countries, the Iranian war and support of Israel adds absolutely nothing to America. It just makes America poorer again MAPA, both of these are major expenses with zero return.

MAGA is really MAPA

It all depends on what is considered imminent.

AI Overview

An imminent threat is an immediate, impending, and unavoidable danger that poses a significant risk of instant harm or injury, requiring urgent action to address it. It differs from future danger by being instantly actionable, with a present ability and opportunity to cause injury. It is a critical concept in safety and self-defense cases.

Immediate threat? No, Impending threat? Yes. Unavoidable threat? Arguably yes. Iran was building ICBM's and was enriching uranium to weapons grade levels. Assessment was they had no intention of stopping this.

My point was that the poster who supports Israel denied that the war was started due to power from the Israel lobby.

CNN Data Guru Reports War in Iran ‘Tremendously Popular’ With Trump’s MAGA Base: ‘Tucker Carlson Be Darned’

Some right-wing media figures have bashed President Donald Trump’s war against Iran, but CNN data guru Harry Enten said don’t let them fool you into believing that’s how most Make America Great Again voters feel.

Enten on Tuesday morning reported the polling shows MAGA overwhelmingly backs Operation Epic Fury.

“Look at this! Nearly 9 in 10, 89% approve of the U.S. military action in Iran. That is the MAGA GOP base,” Enten said during a segment on CNN News Central. “Just 9% disapprove of it. This is tremendously popular among the Republican base.”

His data came from recent NBC and CNN polls.

In this nascent MAGA civil war, the winner is going to be America.

Let the MAGAs cannibalize each other. For the outsider, it might be tough to tell them apart. Young MAGAs tend toward Hitler worship, while older MAGAs don't let anyone share the pedestal with Trump. Both sides favor autocracy. Both sides hate the US Constitution, save for the 2nd Amendment. Both sides are misogynist with a side order of Incel-otry.

It seems to two major bones of contention between the warring parties are Hitler and Jews.

Let them fight it out and destroy each other. That can only be good for America and its true ideals.

Cause and Effect

Something seemingly so simple is, yet, beyond the ken of most.

Without this understanding, there can be no learning from experience.

The war was started due to Israeli influence and the power of The Israel lobby.

Why are people unable to understand this simple fact?

What ends LOL?

We arent poking. We are destroying, quite well too,

We, we, we an old man hunched over a decaying laptop in some grim Cambodian backwater, ready to fire off responses to every perceived slight against his beloved Trump and Israel. It brings to mind White Flag by Dido unyielding, defiant, unable to let go of his two great loves Trump & Israel.

But if a country seizes land in the modern era from a resistant population, there will be consequences. Without justice, there can be no peace. What is unfolding the hardening of an increasingly ethnonationalist state under Netanyahu and his allies, alongside the expansion of the settler movement feels less like isolated events and more like a chain of cause and effect.

In the rubble of Gaza and Lebanon, and now with tensions extending toward Iran, something more enduring is being forged: multi-generational resentment anger that will not easily fade and will be looking for revenge

And I’m sick and fed up with the lies. We’ve heard them all before: Iran is weeks away from a nuclear weapon; they’re building missiles that can reach us. These claims surface again and again, always urgent, always used to justify escalation. They must think we’re fools - I'm tired and angery at the bull.

And yet, knowing the character of the figures involved, people still rally behind them again and again despite the record, despite the evidence.

As for Israel itself, a future of endless war, rising costs, and deep internal divisionseconomic, political, and social raises serious questions about sustainability. No state can carry that strain forever without consequences.

The days of the idealised kibbutz and a world united in sympathy for the horrors inflicted on Jews under Nazism and centuries of European antisemitism are long gone. History mattersbut it cannot be an eternal shield for present actions. That moral credit has been spent, and spent recklessly. The real victims now are the Palestinians people who did not create this history, yet have borne its full weight. They did not deserve this, but they have received it all the same.

And the world especially the younger generation sees it now. Once that shift in perception happens, there is no reversing it.

And finally when you’re struggling to get gas because everyone has panicked remember what’s actually driving it - Israelhell This crisis is tied to a widening regional war that has disrupted global energy supplies, including attacks on infrastructure and the shutdown of key routes like the Strait of Hormuz.

It didn’t come out of nowhere. When you know the chain of events, you know. They killed all the journalist with the same brutal efficiencey they kill anyone who resists or challenges Israel and then they lie,and they lie and they lie.

But I digress. As troubling as all of this is, it is not our war in the West nor our battle to fight directly. Let them continue their struggle, but let us respond in other ways: through isolation, through pressure, through a refusal to endorse or fund actions we believe are wrong.

Not another dollar, pound, cent or euro . Let Israel pay its own way and reckon with the consequences of its policies, rather than exporting instability to the wider world.

Because in the end, either everyone wins or no one does.

Them’s the rules.

Palestine Lives.

Clarence Thomas is an example of an incompetent who was appointed to an important position. He has been a disgrace to the. court since then. Mr. Kent was given an opportunity and he could not deliver. He had already caused problems and was previously taken to task, with the message to stay in his lane.

Last October, he stuck his head into a file that was outside his jurisdictional authority and which alarmed even the authoritarians in the Trump administration. The intelligence services are not legally allowed to spy on US citizens or to undertake activities in the USA. The FBI has the responsibility for domestic law enforcement. Mr. Kent undertook a review of the Charlie Kirk murde Mr. Kirk was killed in the USA, by another US national. Mr. Kent's involvement was neither requested, nor authorized nor even justified. This event caused serious embarrassment for the US government. There were concerns raised as to what other domestic. operations Kent and associates were implicated in.

I expect that Kent's activities were a crisis waiting to happen and that his days were already numbered. Congressional members were already looking into allegations of domestic spying.

It will be interesting to see how Mr. kent's supporters are going to square the circle on the domestic spying concerns. Whatever one's politics are, the optics of an intelligence agency that does not have a mandate to undertake domestic spying, doing just that, is a political grenade ready to detonate.

The only issue here is one of Trump's nutjob appointees amongst many broke ranks and dissed Israel and the Liar-in-Chief and by doing so brought down the wrath of Trump upon his hapless head. All the optics of this need to be seen through that lens rather than some formal ,legalistic , constitutional framework. That train left the station long ago.

Here's a huge spy Jonathon Pollard lest we forget who sold highest level secrets from his intelligence job to Isarel and is unrepetant to this day.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonathan_Pollard

The Move to Israel (December 2020)

Once his parole restrictions were lifted by the Trump administration in late 2020, Pollard finally flew to Israel:

  • The Arrival: He landed in Israel on December 30, 2020, on a private plane provided by American billionaire Sheldon Adelson.

  • The Welcome: He was greeted on the tarmac by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who personally handed him his new Israeli ID papers. In a famous moment of "fair cop," Pollard knelt and kissed the ground upon landing.

  • Current Status: As of 2026, he lives in Israel as a citizen (he was granted citizenship while still in prison in 1995). He remains a hero to many in the Israeli right-wing but is still viewed as a traitor by much of the U.S. intelligence community.

The anti-semitism card lost it allure long ago I have no problem with Jews just rabid Zionists peppering arguments with Nazi whenever it suits them and BTW canonical Godwin's Law says you have just lost the argument but as someone who probably doesn't respect international law I suspect you don't care.

Yeah, they play that victim card constantly, not realizing you can only cry wolf so many times. Just like this turd:

I've seen the Kent was left out of meetings to do with Iran because he's been caught leaking to the media. It's also said that he jumped before he was pushed.

I have no idea the intricacies of the Kent resignation, but as National Intelligence Dir. Ms. Gabbard just told the Senate that only President Trump can decide what is an IMMINENT threat, what's the point of hanging around.

  • Popular Post

In her Threat Assessment testimony before the Senate yesterday, Gabbard chose to leave out the part of her prepared remarks where she said there was no evidence that Iran has made any advances in its enrichment program since the 12 day war last year.

Since the Senators had her prepared remarks, Sen Mark Warner asked Gabbard why she chose to leave that significant part out when she gave her oral remarks.

With a straight face Gabbard said she felt her remarks might be too long so in the interest of brevity, she left out "some parts".....like the most significant statement in her entire prepared remarks.

I guess she needs the job and knew her boss would fire her if she questioned his lies...ooops..."hunches".

He may be under FBI investigation for leaking classified information.

Joe Kent, former director of the National Counterterrorism Center, is facing a probe from the FBI over allegations he improperly shared classified information, Semafor reports. The report comes a day after Kent resigned over the war in Iran.

When reached by Newsweek via email Wednesday night, the FBI declined to comment.

That's a good point.

The Trump administration's travelling clown show continues. Here you can witness Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard saying that it is not the intelligence communities' responsibility to determine what is and isn’t an imminent threat.

I repeat:

"It is not the intelligence communities' responsibility to determine what is and isn’t an imminent threat.”

Over to you, MAGA!cheesy

That is consistent with other claims by the DoJ that what constitutes an 'emergency' or an 'invasion' or 'for cause' are political subjective decisions that can only be made at the discretion of the chief exec.

Resigning and going on a podcast spewing the nonsense of your former bosses opponents as as well as writing self-serving letters is actually a good move when you are under investigation for federal crimes. Then you can claim political motivation and your allies will run with it

This is the source of the 'investigation' into Mr. Kent or the leak of the leak.

The FBI has opened a leak investigation into a top former intelligence official who resigned Tuesday in protest over the war in Iran.

The investigation into former National Counterterrorism Center Director Joe Kent is focused on allegations that he improperly shared classified information, four people with direct knowledge of the investigation told Semafor.
