August 23, 200718 yr Hello everyone. Im a UK national, i have a 60 day visa which i will extend by another 30 days soon. I want to stay another 6 weeks after my 90 days is up. I guess i will need another 60 day visa. How can i get this, will i need to go to an embassy in another country and what will i need. Was hoping maybe i could get a 60 day extension at a border but i guess that not possible? as much help as possible would be very much appreciated. Thank you all.
August 23, 200718 yr Two options: Get another tourist visa in a neighboring country (Vietniane, Penang, Singapore KL to name a few). Or do two visa runs, technically you need proof of onward travel for this, but going to Ban Laem, they will sell you a 200 baht ticket to serve as proof.
August 24, 200718 yr You will need passport/copies and photos along with the fee. Submit in morning and obtain next workday afternoon in most cases. The most you can obtain by border crossing is 30 day entry and that may require you show ticket out of Thailand within 30 days.
August 24, 200718 yr Author the return ticket part isnt an issue as i have this already, i can just phone and change dates on it, providing they will accept an e-ticket print out that i can make from my PC. the extension is virtually guaranteed then???? even though i would have already had 90 days, i think id do two border runs i had thought this wasnt allowed anymore thanks for your help everyone, just feel lost in this even though i expect its quite simple.
