Koh Phangan Moves to Cancel Visas of Three US Visitors Over Public Order Fears

District authorities on Koh Phangan have decided to seek the revocation of visas for three US nationals over behaviour they believe could disturb public order. The matter will now be passed to immigration police for review and possible legal action. Officials said the decision followed a committee meeting on the conduct of foreign nationals, attended by local administrative and law enforcement representatives. The three men were reportedly seen carrying a flag with a religious symbol, encouraging people to join a WhatsApp group and handing out leaflets promoting an activity in Koh Tao. Local businesses and residents reportedly feared the conduct could create unrest and damage confidence among visitors.

I’m a little confused. If local Thais have made complaints would thai police not be able to just take a look ?

I was shocked at how openly brazen Russians were opening hair salons, beauty parlours etc there is no way those in charge were not aware.

So what gives ?

How does this happen ?

Or am I naive ?

Aah, that explains a lot about ukraks also. Part of former CCCP. Pity that - unlike Russia which made a huge progress since 1991 - ukraine is still mentally like a cavemans, thugs, crooks, liars, gangsters and ordinary idiots who are paying tribute to the nazis and ukrainian architects of genocide during the WW2 . In addition - ukraks also speaks russian (very similiar languages), so I wonder how many ukraks are considered as russians by mistake only because most of the people in the world are not even able to distinguish ukraks from Russians.

Russia is still chock full of "thugs, crooks, liars, gangsters." They're called oligarchs. The only difference is that after the pisshead Yeltsin was replaced, Putin took command and anyone seeking to fleece the state purse without proper homage gets defenestrated.

The USSR's home of engineering prowess, technological development and industrial innovation and production including armaments, was Ukraine. It was also the agricultural bread basket for the whole Soviet Union. That's more reason why Putin craves Ukraine.
