Eric a diddler is he? We already know he is a liar, so my bet is on the girl telling the truth. Regardless he is a lightweight no matter what his political beliefs. The quicker he is on a podcast screaming to his equally stupid fans and out of the hair of the norms will be a good day.

I believe he is being used as a sacrificial lamb. 2 repubs are tops on the ticket last time I checked. Him pulling out will allow the vote percent to be added to one of the lame ducks so at least a dem is on the ticket. The current timing and situation is too coincidental for me.

I am thinking the Dems will coalesce around one or two candidates. The usual cigar smoking, back room deals will be made- jobs promised to those who drop out etc. Wonder if the GOP will do the same and rally around Hilton?

It would be better for gop to keep both at the top and gamble. it keeps the dem off the ticket. Guaranteed win if they hold top 2 spots going into election. No dem on ballot.

Anyone alleged to have done something should resign? That’s a weapon for sure. Also, there are no convictions in civil trials. You should know this.

I'm truly disappointed by this news. California deserves someone like Eric Swalwell as governor. He is a smart individual and has campaigned on impressive new social programs. It’s always a good idea to implement more social programs, especially as the state is facing financial problems. Additionally, he has demonstrated skill in international relations. At least he will have more time to spend with Fang Fang.

He wont cure the issues because he will be hamstrung by the Unions and Legislature, but he will slow the decline. Cali needs to collapse before it gets better.
