Is Dry Bog Roll for Barbarians?

Featured Replies

Does anyone still use dry butt wipe to clean their backside? To me, it seems like trying to wipe mud off your shoes with a piece of corrugated cardboard. You just wouldn’t do it.

In Thailand you’ve got the bum gun, which most people who have lived there for a while have learned to embrace. And when you’re abroad, you can easily find packages of 100 or 150 sheets of wet, biodegradable toilet tissue.

So why would anyone still use the dry stuff? It boggles the mind.

Are they all just barbarians? 😄

Why waste any paper at all? Go for a dish towel.

Three of my properties in Australia were equipped with bum guns I brought back from Thailand.

Dry bog rolls are a pretty good method for generating hemorrhoids.

No need for any intervention. I simply opt for no action after the event. I prefer to luxuriate in the memories until the remnants make their own quiet departure.

No. Not a single person in the entire world still uses it. They don't even sell it in stores any more. Where have you been?

You all need to enjoy the sublime pleasure that is the Japanese Toilet Experience.

Heated, soft seat. Often music playing in the background. And the variety of optional devices!

Water heated to your preferred temperature. Sprayed at a strength of your choosing. Also choosing the "target zone"- front for ladies, back for gents and ladies who have coiled a python.

Then, automatic dryer setting- no need for paper! Some will even do a quick health check.

You will never go back to the primitive again.
