The war was completely avoidable. It is a consequence of Trump's decision to leave the JCPOA in 2018 despite there being no evidence that Iran was breaching the terms of the Agreement.

This war has caused economic chaos as did the imposition of tariffs. Neither has anyone to do with America's allies apart from Israel.

Just a note on this. I don't mind the 'we'. The marine with his finger on the trigger isn't the only part of the team that's called military. There's a massive amount of infrastructure behind that marine, including, but definitely not limited to, the supply chain and the funding for that supply chain. If the person using 'we' is a tax payer, be it Federal tax or sales tax, then he is entitled to use the word 'we'. Just my opinion.
