Polanski calls for Trump to be kicked out of Scottish golf courses

Green Party figure Zack Polanski has ignited a political row after demanding Donald Trump be stripped of his Scottish golf resorts, prompting a blistering response from Trump’s business.

Speaking in Glasgow, Polanski urged the UK government to consider sanctions against the US president, escalating criticism over Trump’s foreign policy and its global fallout.

‘Kick Him Out’ — Call for Sanctions Escalates

Polanski said Trump should be “kicked out” of his courses, questioning whether Scots should tolerate his continued presence. He branded the US leader “dangerous” and “unpredictable”, linking his rhetoric to rising international tensions.

The intervention comes as pressure builds over US actions abroad, including recent escalation involving Iran that has rattled energy markets and security alliances.

Trump Organisation Hits Back — ‘Imbecile’ Remark

The backlash was swift. A spokesperson for Trump International Scotland dismissed the comments as “ludicrous and ignorant”, going further to label Polanski “an imbecile”.

The unusually personal attack signals how politically charged Trump’s UK business footprint has become, particularly as scrutiny intensifies over his global conduct.

Scottish Turf, Global Stakes

Trump owns two high-profile resorts — Trump Turnberry and Trump International Golf Links — long seen as symbols of his ties to Britain.

But Polanski’s remarks push those assets into the centre of a wider geopolitical argument: whether political leaders should retain private interests abroad amid escalating conflict.

Pressure Builds as Politics and Business Collide

With tensions rising internationally and energy markets under strain, calls for action against Trump risk deepening divisions at home. Any move to sanction a sitting US president would be unprecedented—and politically explosive.

For now, the clash remains rhetorical. But it underscores a growing reality: Trump’s global decisions are colliding directly with his personal business empire—and critics are no longer separating the two.

The rules are very clear "nothing is worn under a kilt as everything is in perfect working"!

As for the bagpipes he would not be able to play the bagpipes, or any other musical instrument, as he is always blowing his own TRUMPet all the time!

Zack Polanski is throwing a tantrum and throwing his toys out of the pram because Trump has access to his own golf course.

He should just let Trump come, arrest him, steal his course and kill him. Because that's how the left rolls

Polanski is a member of The London Assembly, not even an MP. It took him several goes to get elected to that gravy train. He was previously a Liberal Democrat, with an equally unsuccessful electoral career!

It really is quite an achievement to be too whacky to get elected as a Lib Dem in North London!

Incidentally, as the Trump golf courses are in Scotland any moves to remove Trump would be for The Scottish Government. Polanski is neither a Scot nor a member of The Scottish Parliament.

Who cares what the English say about Trump. I bet his golf courses bring a lot of Tourism to England.

Don't be so cruel to poor old Donald. Just surround all his golf courses by windmills and accept a billion $ offers for each to not be built...

Kicking the convicted felon and fraudster out of Scotland would be an absolutely beautiful thing, granted it'll never happen, but any egg on the face of this gorilla at this point is always a victory for humanity.

Och the noo, surely Polanski is Scottish? So he's sassenach?

I actually was expecting a famous director to be the source of the invective.

I do think that there should be an extra tax on Trump's golf courses. Like a tariff but paid by golfers, not the locals

As a Jew who exhibits a Kapo level of Jew hate (irony) - I love Zack and agree pretty much whatver he says. I shall be proudly voting Green on May 7th but if Sadiq is under threat will vote carefully. It's important to keep him in power. Trump and any of his supporters should be put on a watch list so that our muslim home secretary can consuder whether their presencne is conducive for the public good and hopefully when Tommy Ten Names returns from his US grifting tour he can be arrested at the border and banged back into jail for contempt. This time not on solitary - hopefully on the AL-Queda wing where the brothers can teach him about the Koran. Inshallah.

Perhaps not, they are in Scotland!

It is somewhat akin to suggesting that the undoubtedly scenic splendour of the Rocky Mountains bring a lot of tourists to Florida!

If I may borrow a leaf from @Roadsternut, do they not have an atlas in the public library in Saint Petersburg?

Not so dissimilar a career to Nigel Farage, who originally campaigned for the Tories, then switched to affiliation with the Green Party, before landing himself a taxpayer funded gig as MEP for UKIP.

To be fair, very few MPs win their first or even second elections. Almost by definition, new candidates are chosen for least winnable seats. It took Farage 8 go's before he landed himself a Westminster seat. Little wonder then that in 1999, after one failed attempt, he got himself a MEP seat on the basis of 9.7% of the vote. Kemi Badenoch was originally unsuccessful in a westminster election, and in the London Assembly votes, but profited when a Tory member gave up her seat to elevate to the Commons.

But don't poo poo London. London has a population of 9 million people. That's getting on for double the population of Scotland, 3 times the combine population of Wales and Northern Ireland. London accounts for 22% of UK GDP, a GDP per head of £69,000. If London was a country, it would have an economy comparable in size to the Netherlands.

Perhaps what he/she meant was that Trump's golf courses are so terrible, tourists rather go to places like Wentworth to play Golf

But yes, another clue dropped that Yagoda is less than honest about his/her identity (I suppose depending on the shift), and that he/she has a superficial knowledge of well known (common knowledge) Western culture and geography.

Just another name for England.

Get yourself to any Scottish town and say that, you'd end up in a Haggis, after getting a Glasgow kiss.

It can't be personal if I don't know you, comrade. You keep throwing out the insults to people on the forum and then cry if its thrown back at you. You don't provide any cogent argument, just throw <deleted> around.

Captain Cleavage aka David Paulden should really stick to the breast enhancement.

That was infinitely less ridiculous than his party's politics.

The Scots are leftists, they should just kill Trump and take the courses and build mosques on them. The left around the world would applaud them.

Even those abroad who supported Trump at first now hate the man due to his absurd customs tarifs imposed on European nations, Switzerland and others.

No, per the left, those tariffs were on the American people, NOT on European nations.

It probably remembers when Scotland took over England in 1603!

King James V1 of Scotland also became King James 1 of England!
