Trump snubs King Charles at airport as tensions boil over

Trump likely would have rolled out the red carpet and been there to personally greet Putin, Xi, Kim or a host of other despots and dictators. But the king of the nation that we are supposed to have a special relationship with, is not accorded much respect.

This is very much in keeping with Trump's absolute lack of grace, dignity and respect. Trump is gutter trash.

You can bet the house that Trump will show up for XI. Not sure if he'll show up for Putin if Putin comes to the G20 in Florida because then that would be too blatant if he only showed up for Putin and not for all the other world leaders for the same conference.

Red carpet for Putin. No carpet for King Charles. Here we go.

For Trump or even his feckless VP to not show up at the airport for the state visit arrival of the Monarch of the supposedly closet ally was a royal snub of the highest degree. Any excuses are garbage

  • Not sure about this. It could be that Charles was told not to touch Trump's hand because you don't know where it's been. Trump has a habit of tugging a guest's hand so they fall forward and almost hu

Rember how Obama and Biden treated Netanyahu? Oh, but that's okay, he's a Jew.

Who greeted Trump when he arrived in England for his last state visit?

The answer is : Viscount Hood (a Lord-in-Waiting representing King Charles III)
I've never heard of this person.

But that's ok - it's normal and just how they do it so he's getting the British treatment which should make him feel at home.

Facts are not allowed here. You must bash Trump.

Mods, these emoji stalkers are still going.

The shooting was Saturday night, and it went until Sunday, late morning, and the arrival was Monday morning, perhaps Trump, an old man, was tired and or busy.

Is that not possible?

At almost 80 years old Trump is always tired. Staying up all night posting on social media doesn't help.

I find it funny that some folks actually think it is Trump, that is creating content, and or posting all the gifs, vids or even post on the internet in his named accounts.

Essentially, Royalty waits at "home" to receive guests with full honors, rather than meeting them at the airport.

This protocol is followed for almost every world leader, from U.S. Presidents to the Emperor of Japan.

What's all the fuss ? Charles is not a head of State so the protocol is not the same, More egos seem to be hurt then any formal protocol rule. On a different note, I am no fan of neither of the two, so my opinion is plainly factual.

Not so. Charles is Head of State.

Well done Trump for snubbing Charles and his 'fake' queen - the pair of them are utter trash and treasonous to the English, Welsh, Scottish and Irish people.

I'm a Brit and a republican but I can't see how Charles and Camilla are guilty of treason.

Sod the red carpet, I see a very fit 55 year old, with a plonker by her side. She is very tall, no?

Here we go again with your BS. You have never been to the USA. You have no idea what Americans think about anything. Let alone their opinion of King Charles.

Why are you obsessed with US politics, and Thailand in general when you have never lived in either place?

In fact never even visited the USA.

“special relationship” is under real strain.

If true, who's to blame for that? It is Starmer and his bunch of extremist lefties. Nobody else.

  • Historically, Americans have been split on Charles. Recent polling shows his favorability hovering around 40% to 45%.

Watching the OP's video attachment, who looks the older and slower of King Charles III and President Donald J Trump? I haven't seen video of King Charles for sometime. OMG! He really looks ill (he is) but President Trump exudes the energy needed to run a huge nation in difficult times.

King Donald doesn't like a real King thouigh it is all made up anyway and the true Plantaganent king lives in Australia. The Windsors are pretenders to the throne as were most of the line. At his Coronatuon the true King should have rushed the doors and said to the Archbishop NO ! Just checked he actually did shows they worry about the mumbo jumbo side having him there confers legitimacy.

Yes, he absolutely did! Simon Abney-Hastings, the 15th Earl of Loudoun, traveled from his home in Wangaratta, Victoria, to London for King Charles III’s coronation on May 6, 2023.

Despite the documentary's claim that he is the "rightful" King of England, he didn't go there to start a revolution. He actually had an official, ceremonial role in the service:

  • The Golden Spurs: He was one of only 13 people chosen to perform a traditional hereditary role. He was the Bearer of the Great Golden Spurs, a job his ancestors have performed since the coronation of Richard the Lionheart in 1189.

  • The Ritual: During the ceremony, he carried the spurs in the procession into Westminster Abbey. Historically, these spurs symbolize knighthood and chivalry and were ceremonially touched to the King's heels.

  • A Loyal "Pretender": Simon has been very clear that while he finds the "Plantagenet" research interesting, he is a "loyal and staunch supporter" of King Charles III. He even attended full dress rehearsals at the Abbey and said he was "delighted and sincerely honoured" to be invited.

Mods, we urgently need the sad and confused emoji reinstated!

Charles has never looked good for his age. Starmer does not either.

I think that TRUMP was the major contributor!

Fair point. Most common theory on these Germans.

Of course, everything Trump does has to be examined in a vacuum, the left forbids comparing what Trump does to what the babbling Biden of the feckless Obama did.

I'll take Trump all day over Obama, Biden, Harris or your hero Starmer all day thank you very much.
