Report extension retirement (bank method) at CW

Featured Replies

After many attempts managed to make an on-line appointment. Place was a madhouse with people standing everywhere and obstructing the corridors. Got the TM.47 and three additional forms. The one where you had to confirm your address was no longer there, replaced with a form in which you (freely translated) agree to cooperate if they want to 'examine' your application.

Other difference with last year: no document check (previously at L1-27). I noticed that they only did a single on-line per hour (not sure if this was a fluke). IO insisted that I print out the appointment pdf (I have no printer, went down to the copy shops where they will do it for 5 Baht via internet). When I came back had to sign every page of the submitted documents (see below), get picture taken and pay. Got the stamped passport back about 25 min later, whole process took about 40 min.

Submitted documents:

  • Completed TM.47 with pic.

  • Passport and copy of relevant pages

  • Passbook and copy of relevant pages (going back one year), first update on application day.

  • Bank letter

  • 12 month statement (this and the letter can be done a few days early, unlike BB the SCB will do it on the spot)

  • Hand-drawn map of apartment location

  • Copy of last 90-day report

  • 1,900 Baht

Thanks for clear report.

Hard copy print out of appointment for extension and other items such as reports etc has always been required.

TM47 should not have been needed..

You didn't provide TM30?

  • Oops, typing error TM.47 should read TM.7

  • Last year she accepted a screen shot of the appointment.

  • In 8 years I have never provided a TM.30. My apartment supposedly does it on-line and they can see it on their computer.

Indeed. For many years I never provided a TM30 for annual extension CW.

I now do along with 12 month lease.

I'm using the "pack the kitchen sink" approach.
