Monthly US Social Security deposit not posted in account.

Featured Replies

My May US Social Security deposit was deposited in my Bangkok Bank May 1, which was a Thai Holiday . As Monday was a holiday also, I thought today, on Tuesday iy would be in the account. Checked today, and still not posted. I assuming it's because of the back log of the holidays ?

keep us updated please

My SSA deposit was made into my Bangkok Bank account around noon Friday, 1 May. I went to Central Pinklao that afternoon to do a withdrawal. All the banks in the mall were open, except, of course, Bangkok Bank. Went in person to Bangkok Bank in Lotus Salaya on Sunday. Did the withdrawal. Lot of words to say that everything seemed to have happened normally.

I received mine on Tuesday, May 5 just after 10 am in my Bangkok Bank account.

Don't need to pay attention until USD/THB hits 33.4, then I'll need to withdraw ever 3 months instead of 4 🙄

That's not happening anytime soon. Damn you DJT cheesy

You and me both. The US is a monkey house and the only thing I care about is the exchange rate. With Harris it would be better for US dollar exchanges.

Got mine on time. Did you fill out your last proof of life form?

The Social Security website shows it was deposited omitted May 1st. Going down to Bangkok bank today and try to find out what is happening.

Received also at 10:11 on the 5th @ BBL/TH. I think they are referring to NY branch, maybe.

Mine will sit there until last week July, as I'll need to withdrawal before August arrives, or I'll need to file a FBAR. Don't need to pay attention until USD/THB hits 33.4, then I'll need to withdraw ever 3 months instead of 4 🙄
