Is Google's Gemini just too old-fashioned to be profitable?

Featured Replies

Dear Folks,

In this day and age, is it not still SEX that sells?

Then, why has Google restricted its Gemini AI model from providing to The Public that which The Public loves best?

Any good reason for this?

For example, under GUIDELINES, I see this restriction:

Is Gemini taking the HIGH-GROUND while others take the Low-Road?

I never ask Gemini any embarrassing questions.

But, do YOU?

Or, do YOU try to?

Best regards,

Gamma

Note: Still, I am happy that Gemini refuses to provide..... "explicit depictions of genitalia" (If it does, becasue I, for one, have not tested this restriction....yet.....)

Why are you posting here and asking the internet about sex when you posted elsewhere on AN that due to your age you were no longer interested in the subject?

I believe that you are just posting your usual pointless topics for your own gratification!

All of his recent topics are basically the same: gaslighting, repackaged and rehashed threads together with alluring clickbait subject lines about the potential demise of Sam Altman, the collapse of the AI industry, his man crush on Elon Musk, how wonderful Google's AI is, all mixed in with unrelated 1970s music videos and strange illustrations. In between, he will launch a few completely nonsensical topics that most people struggle to even understand.

Then he claims various people, including people like us, are on his ignore list because we generally do not post the responses he desires to his topics. Yet he still responds to our posts anyway, probably because we are usually the only people replying to his threads, and arguing with people who do not particularly care for his topics is still better than him making his five or six replies to his own topics with no posts from other people in between.

Now here we have the latest gem, where he is talking about unsuccessfully trying to have sex with Gemini, his favorite AI model. He is truly a sad and tragic case.

By the way, Folks.....

Just in case you cannot get Gemini to show you the real thing, then it will show you SYMBOLS, instead....such as....

Phallic Symbols....maybe.....

And: Anyone here on TV who never appreciated the symbolism of....

The Velvet Underground....?

Sometimes, Symbolism is even more titillating than the real thing.....

Sit back and enjoy, Folks.....because....

This Album is HIGHLY rated.

"I was talking to Lou Reed the other day, and he said that the first Velvet Underground record sold only 30,000 copies in its first five years. Yet, that was an enormously important record for so many people. I think everyone who bought one of those 30,000 copies started a band!" - Brian Eno, 1982

Yet you read all his topics due to having no hobbies. Get a life.

The only time I read that guy is when you copy his text.....

Still good, though.

Enjoy the Velvet Underground.....

Why not?

Free Ai is fine. The net is about ads.

It still captures the mid-1960s, pretty well....

Lou Reed was great. One of the best.

If and when ads shape the output of an AI....

Then....

It's really NOT so fine.

This is the distinction.

And, an important one.

The clash of Symbolism is just so invigorating......

Never hide your light under a bushel....

Lou Reed never did.
