Supreme Court tosses racial redistricting rulings in Mississippi and North Dakota

"The Supreme Court tossed out federal court rulings in Mississippi and North Dakota on Monday over racial redistricting claims under Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act, weeks after the high court issued a landmark decision changing the standard for such legal challenges".

Another major blow to the Dems desperate attempts to rig the map and flip the House ,the SCOTUS just stepped in again on Monday, reversing lower court rulings in both Mississippi and North Dakota that tried to force race based redistricting.

Just like the Virginia win, SCOTUS told the lower courts to rethink these Voting Rights Act challenges under the stricter standards from the recent Callais decision, protecting existing maps drawn by GOP led legislatures.

This is more good news for GOP control heading into the midterms, as it blocks minority vote dilution claims(weakening minority votes which was racist in its creation) that previously cost GOP seats in Mississippi and threatened Native American district changes in North Dakota.

The radicals keep failing in court while Trump and GOP states solidify their structural advantages for the House.

The Supreme Court is upholding constitutional limits, not erasing anyone.

The politics of identity is old and tired .

The NAACP's statement is a common far left advocacy any redistricting that doesn't maximize majority Black districts (or similar race conscious remedies) is portrayed as intentional disenfranchisement and a return to Jim Crow. The 6 thru 3 ruling in Louisiana v. Callais directly rejects that as the legal/gold standard.

When Dem's lose at democracy, this is what it looks like.

In Texas, A Dem candidate ,not elected, was physically removed from a redistricting hearing after he refused to stop talking and yield the floor , throwing a tantrum when he didn’t get his way.

This perfectly captures their current meltdown, they cheer for democracy only when they’re winning through race based maps and court activism, but cry foul and disrupt the process the moment Republican legislatures and the Supreme Court push back.

From Mississippi and North Dakota to Texas , the courts are finally restoring neutral rules, and Dem's can’t handle losing under them.

Alabama,just got the ok to go back to the old way of doin things. The Traditional way as opposed to the controversial way, favoring minorities. Years ago ,it was a 6/1 GOP majority, The dems redesigned it to favor minorities given them another seat, 5/2 Gop majority. Now the court brings it back to normal, 6/1 for the midterms.
