what you need is not an inverter but a transformer. your U.S. blender is 60HZ but don't worry about that. in any bigger electrical shop you should be able to buy a transformer.

Are you sure your blender is 1 HP sounds awfully large for a blender ? I run a 1HP motor on my swimming pool and it's about 9" diameter and a foot long.
