Water-Proofness [ or rather, Water-Resistance ]

A crucial safety issue

e.g.

e-MC on offer for THB 25,000 approx. claims to be rated at IP 37

Yet, minimal standard for Motor & Batteries respectively of "entry level" models in more serious jurisdictions are IP 65 or IP 67.

Lead Acid type.

Yet, typical Batteries in more serious jurisdictions are Lithium Ion type.

And when current policy of China is outlawing, & moreover confiscating -- & even without compensation to owner -- of each & every e-MC [ see link below ] , surely Thailand government should capitalise on China’s manufacturers situation as opportunity to promptly only allow sale of new e_MCs that match, or surpass, the more serious countries current "typical" standards, & confirm that each such vehicle complies with regulations, & extent it does, & is supplied with all necessary Certification & Documents to satisfy Land & Transport approval, & also have good service & parts network in Thailand ?
