Clarkson’s Health Scare Leaves TV Star ‘Days From Death’

Jeremy Clarkson has revealed he is now “absolutely fine” after suffering a terrifying health scare that left him fearing for his life — while joking that weight-loss injections have made him look “like a Lowry painting.”

The 66-year-old presenter opened up during an appearance on Heart Breakfast, where hosts Jamie Theakston and Amanda Hold en asked about his difficult year following reports he was rushed to hospital in 2024 with severe chest pains.

Clarkson admitted the past year had been “fraught” after doctors discovered one of his arteries was completely blocked.

“It was quite a fraught year last year but no, I’m absolutely fine now. Tickety-boo!” he said.

When told he looked well, Clarkson quipped: “Yes, it’s fat jabs. I look like a Lowry painting.”

The remark appeared to reference dramatic weight loss following the growing celebrity trend of using injectable weight-loss drugs.

Emergency Dash To Hospital

The former Top Gear host previously revealed he was “days from death” after collapsing with agonising chest pains at his Cotswolds home.

He was rushed by ambulance to Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital, where medics discovered a major blockage in an artery supplying blood to his heart.

Doctors later inserted a stent to restore blood flow and prevent a potentially fatal cardiac event.

The health scare will feature heavily in the upcoming new season of Clarkson's Farm, with a newly released trailer showing doctors urging Clarkson to slow down and take a break.

Clarkson Admits Farming Is ‘Unbelievably Difficult’

Away from his health battle, Clarkson also spoke candidly about the mental and financial pressures facing British farmers.

The presenter admitted he originally believed farming mostly involved “driving around in a Range Rover” and “going skiing in February.”

Instead, he said he discovered an exhausting and lonely industry filled with constant financial anxiety.

“You start to realise, ‘God I’m all on my own all day,’” Clarkson said. “Then you think, ‘There’s no money coming in.’”

He warned that many farmers are struggling under rising costs, subsidy cuts and mounting pressure from government policies.

“It is a very distressing industry at the moment,” he added.

New Clarkson’s Farm Series Promises More Drama

Streaming giant Amazon Prime Video has confirmed the latest season of Clarkson’s Farm will begin airing on June 3.

Episodes will be released in batches throughout June, with Clarkson teasing that the new series is “the most dramatic one” the team has made so far.

The show will also follow mounting troubles surrounding Clarkson’s countryside pub, The Farmer's Dog, which reportedly faces fresh challenges including traveller encampments and financial pressures.

Since launching in 2021, Clarkson’s Farm has become one of Britain’s biggest streaming hits — transforming Clarkson from controversial motoring presenter into an unlikely spokesman for struggling rural communities.

God bless the NHS.
