Obama did not give Iran money. The US government obeyed a court ruling. The US government had no legal right to hold onto funds it had collected decades earlier for an arms sale that the USA did nit fulfill.

The NYT claim of the USA funding Iran going forward is unsubstantiated.

The big scam behind from America is that they are trying to break a deal secretly with Iran to split the racket of the toll payment to cross Hormuz.
