I need better sleep – how about Gummies .

For some time now Ive been finding it harder to both fall asleep and stay asleep , Ive done every thing I can think of relating to my sleeping arrangements , like no looking at my Android tablet in bed, no distracting bedroom lights , air conditioner keeping the bedroom cool , no eating too late before going to sleep, no alcohol before bed time Etc.

So now I’m wanting to try taking cannabis gummies to see if doing that may improve my current poor sleep situation . Ive googled that subject and generally the information provided leads to some type of unhelpful advertising .

I’m hoping others here who have any personal experience of using cannabis , can offer some advice , suggestions or recommendations . I have never smoked so gummies seem the best way forward.

I don't do cannabis so this is a bit off topic but; have you tried sitting down before going to bed and writing down a list of the things you will do tomorrow. Then you can forget them until tomorrow.

Then while lying in bed; if you have something on your mind imagine you are walking down a long corridor with doors on the left and right like in a hotel. Pick a door open it go inside and put the thought on the table in that room turn around come out of the room shut the door and carry on walking. Your thought will stay in the room. If you have more than one nagging thought use another door and repeat.

Maybe I should have a gummy?

Gummies as in gummie bear sweets? Those would be too sugary and keep you awake my dude! :D

Gummies can definitely help you sleep, but the quality of sleep may not be optimal. Have you tried working out in the morning to improve your sleep? Have you eliminated caffeine?

I would try do more obvious and scientifically proven stuff first. Like getting direct sunlight first thing in the morning to reset your circadian clock. I've been struggling with getting 8 hours and that seems to help me. I've also cut back on the caffeine. Only one cup in the morning instead of 2, and nothing else with caffeine (like cola) throughout the day.

I've tried taking CBD and although that seems to help me relax, it doesn't seem to help me sleep any better.

Gummies might work.

Don't eat them.

Just count them until you fall asleep.

One other practical suggestion: I completely boarded up the windows in my bedroom. This certainly helps.

Also: Keep your bedroom at about 19-degrees C. This also helps, physiologically speaking.

I tired those things, and they worked, I guess. But I stopped and decided to concentrate on the reasons I wasn't getting a good sleep in the first place.
