If the Americans recognize Ukraine's exit from the USSR as illegal, the problem will be solved. Z guys are working on it. This is a problem of the internal political struggle for truth inside Russia. The Russian court and the Russian Foreign Ministry must recognize Ukraine's exit as illegal. In order to stimulate them to take action, Putin has recently declared the founder of the Russian Foreign Ministry Kozyrev a foreign agent - that is, a spy and also an enemy of Russia. This is a hint to all the people hired by this man (and there are most of them) that they are next if they do not love Putin's Soviet democratic dreams enough. -

What is the easiest / quickest way to get a visa for my wife to visit the UK
I have done it a dozen times now and fairly straightforward, just a bit tedious. There are many views on the topic but to the same outcome. As a married couple you should write a sponser letter outlining the purpose of the visit with a brief summary of the relationship, how long, when married, current circumstances etc. In it you can make references to the property ownership/investments. You should also take full responsibility to cover all costs involved. It is said that you shouldn't book a flight until the visa is issued but I wouldn't agree with that, from day one I have always had the flight booked before applying. The clearance officer has to be confident that your wife intends to return and a return ticket with both names goes a long way. I always make a statement to the effect that we will both return to Thailand on "airline & date" and that travel insurance has been arranged for the duration. As far as making the application is concerned, that is done through VFS and you cannot avoid a visit to Bangkok. If driving, I would suggest parking on the outskirts and then travel in, there is an MRT station just round the corner. Appointments seem to be better than before and processsing time gone down to about 40 minutes, no longer the same congestion there was at Trendy. VFS is set up to sell services so entirely up to you if you want to use them or not, I dont, other than the courier to return passport. My wife got hers back just before Songkran and that was 15 days from submission but historically it has usually been around the 3 weeks. You should be ok if you get it in by the end of the month. When we did it there was no waiting list for submission but that can change and would be worth asking if anyone knows what it is now, have had to wait a couple of weeks in the past before submission. Deputy Prime Minister Phumtham Wechayachai, speaking on May 8, highlighted the significant impact of the measures initiated since February 5 to target electricity, fuel, and internet access in key locations. The strategy focused on five areas, including the Second Thai-Myanmar Friendship Bridge, Ban Huay Muang in Myawaddy, the Three Pagodas Bridge in Payathongzu, and Ban Mueang Daeng, as well as the First Thai-Myanmar Friendship Bridge in Tachileik, Shan State. As a result, call centre activities, particularly in border regions like Mae Sai in Chiang Rai and Mae Sot in Tak, have notably decreased. Phumtham, doubling as the Defence Minister, noted the strategy has effectively dismantled infrastructures supporting these criminal networks, forcing many operations to shut down or relocate. A comprehensive evaluation of the policy's impact is anticipated in June, but preliminary results show a reduction in criminal activities, although some call centre scams have moved elsewhere. In conjunction with the 3 Cuts strategy, the government’s "Seal, Stop, Save" campaign addresses broader issues like human trafficking and drug trafficking along the borders. This initiative has resulted in a reported 60% rise in arrests and prosecutions compared to previous periods. Despite these achievements, challenges persist with neighbouring countries including Cambodia and Laos, where enforcement requires careful negotiation to avoid hindering legitimate trade. Border business operators have voiced concerns over impacts on exports, particularly those relying on unofficial crossings. However, Phumtham assured that formal trade routes remain open, restricting only those goods potentially linked to scams. Efforts to repatriate victims from diverse regions such as Africa and Latin America continue, though logistical challenges persist due to coordination hurdles with home countries. In collaboration with NGOs, ongoing efforts aim to assist these individuals. Foreign Affairs Minister Maris Sangiampongsa noted Ethiopia's recent repatriation of 282 call centre victims working illegally in Myanmar, with another 469 set to return soon. This action represents a growing international commitment to tackling human trafficking and cybercrime, discussed prominently with Ethiopian Foreign Minister Gedion Timothewos at a recent Brics meeting in Brazil. Since the power and internet cuts began, cybercrime reports in March have fallen by 20% from 31,159 cases in January, underscoring the strategy’s effectiveness in suppressing illicit activities.
