500, so 1000 if you're renewing car and bike.

If renewing car and bike at same time then most (if not all) Transport offices will accept one original COR + photocopy for the other licience

I can't give information about any specific type of visa, but London in general is known as one of the fastest Thai embassies in the world. Most visas are issued in a matter of days rather than weeks

In my experience of applying annually over many years - as long as you fill out the application and upload the required files correctly the visa will be issued within a few days.

  • My current Non O Thai spouse took about 2 weeks as they originaly said I could not use my premium bonds for the financial proof. I had to contact them and point out I do not have any premium bonds and

My work involves frequent, unscheduled travel with tours of indeterminate length: 10 days, 6 weeks, 2 months, etc..

My BBL account may be suspended or closed at any time as I no longer have an immigration status that they accept. Right now it's my ONLY Thai bank account, so the sooner that's sorted, the better (+ new account elsewhere).

My Thai DL expired last December so I want to renew that before unscheduled work possibly runs out the 1-year clock on "easy" renewal of a 5-year TDL. Need a Non-O to do that.

I am not going to the UK solely for the Non-O visa. It's something I can get while I'm there on other business.

So, if I get a Non-O in London, and I end up not being time-pressured here and get banking, TDL and extension sorted, then BINGO!!!

If I only manage two out of the three, it's still a win as far as I'm concerned.

After obtaining and entering Thailand with a Non O visa, should the need to travel occur within the 90 day permission of stay granted on entry, then another option is to obtain a re-entry permit to protect that 90 day POS.

Udon and Nong Han TO's are not the same as most, unfortunately.

I was unaware of that. I did get a re-entry permit once while waiting for the 30-day spouse extension to be approved. I didn't know it also applied to a 90-day visa. That may be a good fit with my client's mercurial planning.

The Non O visa is only valid to enter Thailand within 90 days of issue.

On entry that visa is 'used' and no longer valid. (you used the one and only single entry it allowed), but you are granted temporary permission of stay for 90 days.

A re-entry permit protects any permission of stay already granted, whether that be 60 days (TV), 90 days (Non O), or extension (365 days).
The re-entry permit covers the period of stay already granted, regardless of the initial visa type.

Udon Thani Provisional Transport Office 78 Mittraphap Rd, Nong Phai, Mueang Udon Thani District, Udon Thani 41330, Thailand accept 1 original COR and a photocopy for renewing both car and motorcycle licences.

They also accept 1 original medical report along with a photocopy.

I have renewed on 2 occasions here as it is only a few miles from our village.
