The same could be said about your good self. Paint a fair picture of both sides. Talk about what the Israelis are doing. How many Israeli terrorists are there?

Now don't try and change the subject into yet another Israel abusing thread .

There's a big difference between "aid to Palestine" and "material support for Hamas" - I wonder which category his donations actually fell into?

A damn sight fewer Israeli terrorists than Muslim ones.

How did Israel come into being? Did they not commit acts of terror? They were definitely terrorists at that time. Amazing what a bit of whitewashing can do. Terrorist state by my reckoning. No surprise that they meet with resistance. That's normal.

But who has done the most killing and destruction? There are none so blind...

Aren't you ging to mention the King David hotel in Jerusalem being bombed in 1946 ?

You're mixing up two different issues.

The actions of some Zionist groups before Israel's creation are part of history and are debated by historians.

But if you're saying violence committed decades ago justifies violence today, then you're applying a principle that never ends. By that logic, every conflict becomes permanently justified.

I judge Hamas by what it deliberately does to civilians today, just as I judge Israel by its actions today.

Neither gets a free pass. But deliberately targeting civilians isn't “normal resistance”. It's terrorism, whoever does it.

Everything you assert applies to Israel, today. Of course it's ongoing and ne'erending. HAMAS is but one chapter.

This 'terrorist' name calling seems infantile.

Also this bias in applying "civilians" to Israelis who are mostly all in the military at one time of another, but applying 'terrorists and their sympathisers' to all Gazans because of HAMAS.

So if an Iranian mullah wanted to bribe a very important American politician, some people say the greatest politician ever, would that be okay?

You're putting words in my mouth. I haven't labelled all Gazans as terrorists, any more than I'd label all Israelis as combatants. Civilians are civilians.

If Israel commits unlawful acts, criticise them.

If Hamas deliberately targets civilians, criticise that too. My standard doesn't change depending on who's pulling the trigger.

Many of your opinions do change; however, HAMAS has invested billions of aid money, not for schools and hospitals, but for the destruction of Israel, the ancestral home of the Jews, as stated in the Quran 46 times—no mention of any Palestine, not even once.

Could you please explain the big difference between "aid to Palestine" and "material support for Hamas?"

So-called humanitarian aid to Palestinians relieves Hamas of providing support for the people it governs and allows it to spend the substantial funds at its disposal for military purposes. "Hamas does not need to pay a dime for the population. Everything is taken care of by others. This allows them to use their money for military purposes."

That quote comes from Nitsana Darshan-Leitner, president of Shurat HaDin, the Israel Law Center, and an expert on terrorist financing. "She described how for most of the past two decades, Qatar supplied oil and funded humanitarian projects, the PA covered the costs of electricity, water, health and education, while UNRWA – including with funding from the U.S. – took care of a wide variety of needs for some 75% of the population considered refugees."

The quotes from Darshan-Leitner are in the article:

How Hamas fooled gullible donors to fund its billion-dollar terror tunnel system

Hamas' vast subterranean network of tunnels rivals the London underground and the Paris metro

https://www.foxnews.com/world/hamas-fooled-gullible-donors-fund-billion-dollar-terror-tunnel-system

"The Hamas underground network, often called the 'Gaza metro,' includes between 350 and 450 miles of tunnels and bunkers at depths ranging from just beneath apartment complexes, mosques, schools, hospitals, and other civilian structures to over two hundred feet underground. There are estimates of over five thousand separate shafts leading down into Hamas subsurface spaces."

https://mwi.westpoint.edu/israels-new-approach-to-tunnels-a-paradigm-shift-in-underground-warfare/

The Hamas tunnel system is a massive undertaking, rivaling the subway or metro systems in Western cities in terms of tunnel length. The cost of building the Hamas tunnel system is estimated at U.S. $1 billion or more. While much of that money likely came from Iran, aid to Palestinians is a crucial component in financing the tunnels.

Do please demonstrate where "many of my opinions have changed". It appears that you may be suffering from some kind of mental illness, whereupon you create completely fictitious statements, attributing them to others.

So, who has killed more civilians, IDF or HAMAS? Let's see your criticism of Israel.

How many civilians were there on October 7th? Do you know? When I was last there, there were people wearing civvies and carrying rifles. When were you last there?

Lastly, the donations were in support of the Palestinians, no mention of HAMAS.

You might wish to seek therapy for your anger issue.

He gave the money to terrorists, not Palestine. There is no Palestine and never was, it was just a name given to an area, like New England or east Anglia. Even the Quran does not mention any Palestine once, but does the children of Israel 43 times.

Maybe hypocritical, but not odd. And we all know hypocrisy is accepted by you leftist, Jew hating extremists.

The number one reason Israel has any remaining support in the US is the fact that Israel spends more money on lobbying the US than any other entity on the planet. In addition they are very skillful at demonizing anyone who criticizes Israel, or (similar to what you do but without the skill) Israeli policy on any level and accusing them of anti-Semitism which is total BS.

The second reason is the fact that the other Jewish lobbies have a tremendous amount of influence and Congress in the Senate are scared to death of alienating them.

And the third reason is that Trump seems to be Netanyahu's man's slave, much the same as he is Putin's man's slave, so Congress and the Senate are afraid of doing anything that might piss off the trash goon.

Nothing ever happens in a vacuum. Cause and effect. Oppression and being treated as second class citizens leads to unrest. This has happened throughout history. It is happening in that area now. Some political science professors would refer to it as blowback. Israel has become an obnoxious bully, and the chief sponsor of terror in the Middle East.

This argument falls apart because it confuses criticism with causation.

Yes, lobbying exists. Every major interest group lobbies Congress. That does not explain decades of bipartisan US support for Israel, which is based on shared strategic interests, intelligence cooperation, and regional security.

The claim that Israel is the "chief sponsor of terror" is absurd. Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran deliberately target civilians and openly celebrate terrorism. Israel targets terrorist organisations, even if its operations are heavily criticised and civilian casualties are a tragic reality.

Most importantly, "cause and effect" is not a defence of terrorism. Plenty of people live under hardship without massacring civilians, kidnapping children, raping women, or firing rockets at cities. Hamas chose terrorism. That choice belongs to Hamas alone.

You can criticise Israeli governments all day long. What you cannot do is erase the responsibility of terrorists for the atrocities they commit.

So much rubbish stated by you in one post.

That's simply not true.

"Foreign governments lobbying Washington are required to register their spending. In 2024, Japan spent roughly $50 million. Saudi Arabia spent about $44 million. China topped $30 million. South Korea spent $27 million, and Qatar nearly $19 million."

https://honestreporting.com/%E2%96%B6-follow-the-money-why-the-israel-owns-washington-claim-falls-apart/

In comparison, Israel spent about $14 million in 2024.

When total lobbying, foreign government and foreign non-government, is counted, Israel doesn't place among the top ten.

https://www.opensecrets.org/fara/countries/73?cycle=2025

On the domestic lobbying side, the much-maligned American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), the largest of the U.S. Jewish lobbying groups. ranked roughly 74th in 2024, spending around $3.5 million. That is a small amount compared to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce at $96 million, the National Association of Realtors at $86 million, Big Pharma at $60 million, or Amazon at $50 million.

No doubt AIPAC is a strong and influential lobby group, but it has nowhere near the power to determine ekections that some imagine. Many candidates backed by AIPAC have lost Congressional elections. It's hard to point to any elections where AIPAC's support has cinched the win, as it mostly backs candidates likely to win in any case.

Calling all Israelis terrorists is lazy collective hatred, not an argument. Terrorism means deliberately targeting civilians, which is precisely what Hamas did on 7 October through massacres, kidnappings and hostage-taking.

The Solomon’s Pools issue concerns a controversial proposal pushed by Smotrich and other hardliners.

It is legitimate to oppose that proposal, but pretending it proves millions of Israeli civilians are terrorists is absurd. Criticise a government policy without whitewashing actual terrorists.

Solomon’s Pools, however, is a historical misnomer. King Solomon, if he existed (a subject of debate), is thought to have ruled Israel and Judah about 800 years before work started on the reservoirs.

The pools date back as far as the second century BCE, though the main construction was carried out by the Romans a century later as part of a vast engineering project of two reservoirs, aqueducts and tunnels to supply water to Jerusalem 8 miles (13km) away.

A third monumental basin was added under Ottoman rule, when a fort was also built to safeguard the water supply. During the Mandate period from 1923 to 1948, the British authorities modernised the system with metal pipes and pumps.

“This site is being weaponised in order to erode and basically cancel the Oslo agreement,” said Alon Arad, an Israeli archaeologist and executive director of Emek Shaveh, an organisation set up to protect ancient sites. He added: “There are 6,000 ancient sites in West Bank and only a [fraction] out of them represent any connection to Jewish heritage.”

Israelis deliberately target civilians. It's not a new policy. Ten of thousands of them killed in Gaza and more attacked daily on the West Bank.

Even Trump declared that they should not be blowing up whole apartment buildings in order to kill one person.

Sorry that I cannot narrow down to the individual names of the miscreants. Suffice to describe them as Israelis supported by a terrorist administration.
