Nope. It's wrong to want him to be stabbed, hung drawn and quartered, or any of the other wishes of posters who have not said one policy they disagree with, not given any justification, they almost certainly don't live in London or have close ties to it. You know why they dislike him, there is one clear reason. If there was any rational reason they would give it.

You'll also notice (maybe) that one poster who does have experience of London says he dislikes Khan because of the widespread introduction of 20mph speed limits. I disagree with his logic as I think they have made the streets much safer, especially for children, however it is a valid argument that he would like to drive through residential streets at 40mph. Did I call him racist? Nope. He had a reason.

What was the reason for the two posters wanting him stabbed? Or the one saying he needs to be hung drawn and quartered? What is their experience of London or his policies? You must know as you think there is no racism behind such vile comments.

A point of order: I would not like to drive through residential streets at 40 mph. I would like to drive at 40 mph on a thoroughfare. I have no problem when 20 mph limits are applied to quiet residential streets (especially when used as rat runs), but - as I made clear - not to thorough fares in central London.

Perfect example is Park Lane: it's four lanes in each direction, used to be 40, then 30, now 20.

The Westway is another bug bear: it's a main route out to W London and also used to be 40, now it's 30 and I bet it'll be 20 before too long. I could knit a keffiyeh in the time it takes to go from one end to the other.

Maybe Khan and his minions want everyone to ride e-bikes or use ride-hailing instead of private vehicles. Which of course some boroughs have now realised opens the door to lucrative exclusivity deals with service providers ... qv Hackney's recent deal with Lime and Hounslow doing same with Forest.

All of this stuff is presented with a veneer of "it's good for the planet and the little children but, at heart, it's all about money being raised through fines and cushy deals.
