Donald Trump has warned Iran that for every ship it attacks in the Strait of Hormuz, US forces will blow up a bridge or power plant.

The US president said no bridges or power plants were off limits, and that Washington could target some in Tehran.

On Truth Social, Mr Trump wrote: "From this point forward, any time the Islamic Republic of Iran shoots at a ship in the Strait of Hormuz, whether it be by Missile, Rocket, Drone, or any other device or weapon, the United States will bomb and destroy ONE BRIDGE OR POWER PLANT, including those located next to, or in, the Capital City of Tehran."

War crime judgement finally ended 0ver 40 years ago on Pol Pots ring leaders in 2022. Putin hopefully one day will stand for judgement over his war crimes. even if he is in his 80s.

What Trump seems incapable of understanding is the threats to Iran have the opposite effect to what he wants.

Iran has said that there will never be a return to the situation that existed before they were attacked maybe the world would prefer the US leaving the area and Iran charging some sort of fee just to get the strait open again.

Then perhaps Saudi could come to an agreement with Oman to run a pipeline to a new port avoiding both the strait and the Red Sea.
