Thanks for that link. That organization produces high quality reports.

However... I have to say the report does not agree with your statement. The facts they give show that the actual negative effects of NAFTA were much milder that the pre-NAFTA debates publicized. My conclusion is that the shift to Republican support in those historically Democratic areas was due mainly to misguided perceptions about the effects of NAFTA... not the actual effects. Blame should fall on those who failed to accurately educate the electorate about the actual effects of NAFTA.

The Australian inflation rate is 3.8%. However, that's a rate put out by the Australian Bureau of Statistics, which has not been politicized as the US offices have been.
