When people were motivated enough to believe something, they were going to believe it no matter what. There was no such thing as a bridge too far.

Trump tapped into the popular sentiment, people don't want to be told how to think, how to talk and how to behave, and that in and of itself is something that the Democrats have to learn. Yet to date I've seen no indication that they've expressed any interest in reform. They're talking about another run for Harris in 2028. Are they completely tone deaf? Are they completely dumb? She would be the last person in the world to consider for another run unless the Democrats are interested in long-term irrelevance.

A Mark Kelly/Shapiro ticket might be unbeatable. Especially against someone as deeply unpopular as Vance.

My reply wasn't about who's better, men or woman, as I've never been impressed with any of them. All a bit embarrassing in their own right.

But if you're going to nominate one, simply being a woman, is not a qualification. USA has no women in office now, that could do a better job than the idiot men that have held the office.

• He lied, and enough people believed him (now they start to understand he lied).
