Fauci Held in Contempt After Covid Hearing

Contempt prosecutions, and resulting convictions, are rare.

I would think that deploying your consitutional right not to answer questions (in a senate hearing or anywhere else) would not result in a criminal charge - as that in itself is a violation of the constitution. Holding the constitution contemtuously.

Where are all the No Kings types now? Not a peep. The evil doctor was playing King ordering people how to live their lives.

Aaron Rodgers was correct to call him out as a coward. Mr. Science refuses to answer any questions. Thuggish behavior. I always suspected the man was a tool, and a shrill for big pharma. Lock him up.

Disgusting. Trump is always complaining about weaponizing the DoJ but he is the biggest culprit.

Fun fact: The ultimate responsibility for the U.S. federal government’s first-year COVID-19 response rested with President Donald Trump.

Fauci was a government-employed scientific advisor who could recommend policies but had no authority to make federal executive decisions.

If thousands died unnecessarily because political decisions overrode medical advice, responsibility lies with the officials who had the power to make those choices.

A doctor can recommend the treatment — the client makes the final decision and owns the outcome.

Ultimately Trump put politics over public safety and was directly responsible for the death of tens of thousands of Americans, due to his egregious incompetence and unwillingness to take action.

Charged with what? The move against him is widely seen as politically driven without science, especially since the same officials picking on him once dismissed the very science he championed. It’s less about public health and more about power, accountability, and the weaponization of oversight. When the rest of the world followed the same government guidelines for living in a pandemic, following the science, people like you and MAGA conspiracy theorists protest against loss of liberty and freedoms to spread a virus as much as you like?

They tore up the pandemic playbook and made up totally spurious arbitrary and unscientific nonsense as they went along..

Some places like Sweden didn't go totally mad, Africa seemed to just ignore the stupidity entirely...

too busy scratching a living to spend time listing to the propaganda ?

Not helped at all by them being elderly, unfit, overweight ,denied early treatment, told to go home till blue and then put on a ventilator pumped full of morphine and remdesivir.

Posts with derogatory nicknames, intentional misspellings, or personal remarks will be removed. Spell names correctly for all sides of the debate.

BS. Aaron Rodgers is an idiot, and so is Rand Paul. This is just another desperate MAGA diversion, and it's laughable that the GOP s**t heads that were pointing at Dr. Fauci in the hearing completely and conveniently forgot who the Doctor was advising; the man in charge - donald j. trump.

The 5th is not a privilege that anyone has in respect of investigations/offences for which a pardon has already been granted has that person no longer has any legal jeopardy or risk of criminal penalty for those past acts.

You obviously don't know what his pardon covers.

One decade of federal crimes only.

You seem to be confused. It was Trump who 'tore up the pandemic playbook and made up totally spurious arbitrary and unscientific nonsense' as he went along.

The Obama administration had already produced a pandemic response playbook for future administrations. Apparently, Obama has a permanent penthouse suite in Trump’s head. Even a pandemic plan became a personal grievance.

Clearly Fauci led the CDC to create rules regarding distancing, mask wearing and vaccination.

Oh, wait a minute...

Fauci had never and did not work for the CDC at any time.

He basically followed CDC advice.

Every time life doesn’t go your way it’s a MAGA diversion.

Pathetic way to live but in all fairness, you’re not alone.

The real question is why did you post the lie that the US research program caused the Covid pandemic? 😃

If it’s a lie there’s no need for a preemptive pardon or claiming the 5th 100 times when questioned. Right? His team did not cause the pandemic but their involvement in the research bears responsibility something he’s trying to avoid.

Partisan nonsense. The debate hasn't been definitively resolved. While Dr. Fauci and the NIAID maintain that the NIH did not fund gain-of-function (GoF) research in Wuhan because the work didn't meet the government's specific definition, others like you disagree, but in most developed nations a person is not guilty until proven so?

With that, only one person guilty in the epstein drama, and she's serving time. Ah, the hypocricy ...

Fauci is either very guilty of something, or paranoid of spending time in prison. His "performance" was disgusting and disgraceful. I never trusted him, nor the covid narrative he so fervently pushed.

That's not to say Trump was without guilt for denying the very existence of it initially.

Good for him. It's disgraceful how someone who has saved millions of lives is being hounded.

Hmmm, Trump, the "father of the vaccines" and Fauci and his fake pandemic and non existing virus saved millions of lives? I was reading the comments section of an article about the "vaccines" and it is sci-fi horror script. It goes like this: I was a very healthy, 25, 19, 35, 45,... years old after the "vaccines"...I can not walk, I am blind, I developed pancreatic cancer, I have diabetes, I have high blood pressure, I have blood clots,...Those are the lucky ones(maybe?) that are still alive. And then the dead ones: I lost my father and brother, I lost my mother, I lost a brother and sister, I lost my uncle, I have four friends t hat dropped dead, my son fell dead in the football field, and the list goes on and on. Maybe they are all bots paid by the anti vaxxers?

Blah blah! You have nothing, as usual!

The DNA signatures of viruses used in the US research program don't match the Sars-Cov2 DNA signature.

BTW, haven't you been informed that the originator of the Covid virus has never been found? 😂

Finally a sensible thought? Don't believe everything you read.

A post with a screenshot of a news item and a reply has been removed as there was no valid link provided to the source of information.

Bill Maher ends his show with a brutal minute-long takedown of Anthony Fauci and the liberal elites who turned him into a self-aggrandizing celebrity.

The last line of the entire thing was pure cinema.

MAHER: “But you have to try awfully hard not to notice how much Fauci is energized by being embraced by one particular cultural tribe.”

“It was Julia Roberts who was telling Fauci he was Jesus with a petri dish. Not Randy Quaid.”

“And that side likes to think of themselves as the purely ‘Science’ people, even though keeping kids out of school that long and traumatizing two-year-olds with masks wasn’t good science.”

“Fauci supported some strange policies for such an esteemed epidemiologist.”

“Natural immunity doesn’t count now? Meaning, even if you’ve had the disease, you still had to get the shot?”

“That sounds more like what Pfizer and Fauci’s celebrity friends wanted to hear.”

“He let this <deleted> go to his head.”

“Turns out the really dangerous ‘intimate contact’ wasn’t shaking hands, it was kissing ass!”

After murdering millions as the facist evil doctors, this is their salute to America.

Fauci himself is the biggest SIMP I’ve witnessed to date.
