Israel was brutally attacked by Palestinians Hamas on 7 October 2023 when men, women, children and infants were cruelly murdered. The ongoing payback is fully justified, if it targets only Hamas members and doesnt use it as a pretext to genocide.

The attackers were Palestinians.

So you hate your country and when you tell people who hate it too that you share their hatred they like you better. Bravo. Israel does have a few blatantly racist members in government - true - but they represent a very small percentage of the population. The grand majority of Israelis do not support genocide nor has Israel ever attempted one - Gaza has over 2 million people, the death toll over almost 3 years is 70,000. A lot - but not a genocide.

It's only fitting that Israel will likely get a new government this coming October after the elections. The current government is unlikely to get re-elected.

Simplistic minds will always try to reduce a statement to a meme. I don't hate my country but I do realize that my country has multiple defects and terrible leadership. And I'm not afraid to speak out against that. Trump supporters love to label that as hatred of America and anti-Semitism.

Recent polls within Israel have shown that 67% of the population support the ongoing actions of the IDF. If you want to deny that that's genocide go right ahead.

The attacker was clearly a nut job and the mother and daughter were victims of wrong place - wrong time. The perp was looking for fights. He had also assaulted Thai police the same day.

Of course they support it - because they know it's NOT genocide. Were mistakes made? maybe. Was there too much collateral damage? maybe. Is the government s***? definitely! But the IDF is a professional army doing what it's supposed to do - win.

How how much would you like to bet that the majority of the thumbs downs had nothing to do with going back to your home country, and had everything to do with the mention of MAGA supporting Israeli defenders?

You have really lost it with your delusional maga obsession…

…over a post that has nothing to do with it. You’re acting like a child trying to hide the obvious behind the back which is your antisemitism. Your credibility continues to falter further down the irredeemable hopeless void.

Interesting how nobody is questioning this... Although this story is quite suspicious when you look into it.

Only source is ynet, who originally published it on June 8. No mention whatsoever in any local Thai media, be it the claimed attack or the alleged subsequent arrest of the alleged perpetrator. No mention in any other israeli media, either, except for a few web outlets just republishing the ynet bit. No pictures other than the ones from ynet...

And, most of all, no outraged netizens.

Lengthy copy n paste has been removed under "fair use" rules.

A paragraph or two and a link to the source is all thats required.

So you don’t hate America. You just think it’s defective, led by monsters, and committing genocide. Got it.

If the USA is so unbearable, Seattle’s waiting.

You can live out your communist utopia there. They have tent cities, open-air fentanyl markets, record overdose deaths, and progressive policies that turned sidewalks into drug dens. You can protest for Hamas to your heart’s content without anyone labeling you together with the trans cult.

You don't need to even worry going to jail if you do crime.

Again, deport the "fine gentleman" who did the attack. Yemen would be good destination if Hamas does not take him in.

To assault a 62-year-old woman to the extent she requires surgery is extremely cowardly. The perpetrator must have taken his inspiration from Hamas' attacks on Oct. 7.

He should be forced to go a round against a 24-year-old veteran of the IDF, male or female. He'd understand what hand-to-hand combat is really about.

Regardless of above debate, we must differentiate between governments and their citizens. Just because someone lives in certain country or has that country's citizenship, it does not mean that person supports the actions of his or her government.

This is happening in many countries, non Palestinians are seriously joining in on the negative reaction to Israelis. The woke left wing world has found a cause! Israelis need to be discreet about their nationality, and maybe have to stay home.

See, Jacko, you’ve actually got nine left-wing comments; apparently there are a lot of people in LOS who love Palestinians.

The two of us certainly aren’t among them, that much is clear.

right ... but i won't hold back, and i would continue to criticize and condemn my own government for its wrongdoing ...

it seems that the majority of israelis defend and support the war crimes committed by their government. shame on them ...

Israel has not been convicted of war crimes. Nor has any credible evidence been suggested that would pass the 'beyond reasonable doubt' test, let alone the dolus specialis standard for inferring genocidal intent - something those alleging genocide have never heard of. Defending one's country is not a war crime and "eye for an eye" is not the standard for determining proportionality in the laws of armed conflict. Claiming to the contrary is bigotry: one standard for Israel and another standard for the rest of the world

I know. Why are you addressing your comment to me by quoting my comment?

I agree with the deportation idea and I also agree with your description of the big cities in America now. They are quite a reflection of the declining quality of life overall. It is defective, it does support genocidal regimes and it does have a leader that coddles dictators and insults democratic allies and war heroes like Zelensky.

That is just one of a dozen reasons why I'm living over here these days and loving it. As far as I'm concerned everyday in Thailand is a good day.

Ok, so what you are saying is that Iran’s regime needed taking down.

So how is that going?

From what I read, wiping out the top echelon has resulted in even more hardline, freshly embittered, less experienced, more extremist people rising to the top and perpetuating the regime.

Or is that incorrect?

You could say that the US negotiations are not going very well. That tends to happen when you invite a highly inferior group of men to negotiate a deal. Trump is stuck with only plan A and he's unable to improvise or pivot likely due to his old age and total lack of flexibility and imagination.

Iran’s state broadcaster published the statement by the council’s secretary, Mohammad Bagher Zolghadr, who is also a commander in the powerful Revolutionary Guard.

The U.S. must never threaten Iran again, the statement said, and must permanently end the war with Iran and its armed allies in the region. The U.S. must lift the naval blockade of Iranian ports and withdraw its military from the area. It also must “completely compensate” Iran for war damage, lift sanctions and “unconditionally” release frozen assets.

I could literally go on and on all day long. It's very refreshing being surrounded by lovely women who are incredibly comfortable with the dignity within femininity and not afraid to express that, unlike most women in America.

It's also quite delightful to be able to flirt mercilessly with total strangers and waitresses who actually seem to get a kick out of it.

I also love the humor that most Thai people have and how easy it is to get them to laugh and joke around. That's nearly impossible these days in America where people take themselves way too seriously and just seem to be too depressed and stressed out to even catch the meaning of a joke.

It's also wonderful to be in a place where not everything is overpriced, and plumbers do not attempt to charge what psychiatrists used to charge.

Like I said I could go on and on but that should suffice for now.

Your efforts to justify a hate crime has required you to offer all sorts of justifications for what we all know was an act of cowardice. This thugs sucker punched 2 women. How proud you must be of this brave man.

You know nothing about these victims of the crime. For all you know they could be peace activists, or some of the tens of thousands who protest against the Israeli government every week. And yet, you come up with a pathetic justification for the savage attack.

Whether they support the Israeli government or not is irrelevant The dominant fact is that a foreigner with a French passport imported his ignorance and hate and attacked other visitors to Thailand who were minding their own business and not hurting anyone. It was arrogant and disrespectful to the host country, Thailand to push his own political agenda. You don't like Israelis. OK, good for you. You don't have to associate with them or talk to them. If you see them, you can ignore them. It is called being law abiding. Everyday, many of us come across people we dislike. It isn't so difficult to keep from punching them in the back of the head.

So very true Mot, the Make America Great Again people certainly welcome the Israelis to their country as we consider the Israelis Freedom Fighters. And the MAGA patriots are not Jew haters like most liberals.

This savage should of course be charged with assault, locked up, and then deported, I hope he has a credit card which can be confiscated, or access to a substantial amount of cash as he should be forced to pay not only for the medical treatment required , but also for substantial damages for the victims of this savage unprovoked attack on two totally innocent and defenceless women

It is not the Israelis who should remain in their own country. Had the Palestinians remained in their own country on October 7th these incidents would never happen

Just imagine how much safer the entire world would be if followers of the religion of peace were confined to their own countries, I certainly cannot see any negative consequences to that
